The Thai Taxi drivers are a laugh...not too bright if you think about it. Scenario #1 - I ask a taxi driver to take me from Emporium to Central World he says "NO" and drives in the same direction to Central World? with no meter running?......I have to laugh. I knew a taxi driver in San Francisco, and he had a collection of antique and non-antique cars.........driving a taxi mind you. He told me you know how I can afford these? He said when he's driving is to have somebody in the taxi as much as possible, meaning the meter is running...ching-ching.....rather than the Thai Taxi's driving around wasting gas......jus sayin

Great country Myanmar, as an American I worked there opening restaurants in Yangon in 2012, met and worked with some of the friendliest people in the world. Military was in control for 50 years previously and opened back up in about 2011/12. when I first arrived there were sand bag piled up with soldiers with AK's, they disappeared after a year or so 2013....... a lot of memories....

I'm a Chef, have worked in some of the best restaurants and hotels in Asia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai. I moved back to the US 3 months before COVID, and all (most) of the hotels and restaurants shut down. so I took a job in a high end grocery store in Seattle as a butcher. I don't want to mention any ethnic group but on Sunday's they would want a whole chicken cut up for let's say Curry, there would be about 25+ each day. So it took who ever to cut it up about 10 minutes each time to cut and wrap 25 chickens is 4 hours taken out from stocking, cleaning, customer service...etc........and then they look at you like why did it take so long? with no charge...

We ARE SUFFERING.......
