well hang on a minute. I had a petrol station scratch a brand new sti at the cap and bonnet with carlessness. My wife would go bananas at these people when filling up to be careful where as i would just let it go usually. We had our local servo wash the car once and got a huge loss of paint on the rear bumper when they didnt change the polisher disc after trying to polish my car when we told them not to do anything apart from wash the outside..

I felt like hitting the lot of them!! Manager said he would pay 5000thb and never did. Well it was quoted at 9000thb but decided to sell the car soon after because we couldnt keep people off it really being the main reason. Took the fun out of it. They would all lean on the real spoiler and such. Guy that bought it talked us down another 50k because we hadnt fixed the bumper. Had it for a year and lost 2million...

No excuse to hit a girl but why arent they told and shown how to care about other peoples things and stop the stupid adds on the hood. I prefer to put my own fuel in but nup...

funny, had about 20 people hang around the car because all though pretty boring internationally a modified subaru sti 2015 is pretty cool to them i guess. As soon as it was scratched everyone scattered and the manager guy who couldnt stop asking me questions earlier locked his dam door and wouldnt answer.

Some times its not better to try and impress people more than your capable of even though its just washing a dam car.

The adds on the roof are removed once the tank is full and paid for. It’s an all clear for dummies.

I don't think the high-end hotels will ever drop their prices low enough that it becomes a free-for-all.  Notwithstanding, the OP's headline answers its own question.  People with money still have money and can afford a weekend at a top hotel and those at the lower end of the market haven't the available funds for a weekend in Hua Hin, even in the cheapest hotels.

This is the new normal and for some considerable time to come and only the strongest [richest] hotels will survive.

I like to keep an eye on the 4 seasons here in Chiang Mai. Agoda listed at over 30,000, was 25,000, and is just over 10,000 now.

We where trying to book a house at Chiang Mai Grace for a family of six ( last time paid 15,000 a night ). They aren’t answering the phone, and we’ve driven by several times to find the offices locked and empty.

That Trump photo of Epstein and Maxwell is clearly from a society event, and therefore little conclusion/guilt by association can be drawn from it. Did you notice the photo of Bill Clinton actually with one of the abused girls I posted? The MSM seem not to run with that photo and seem much much keener on non incriminating photo/footage of Trump with Epstein at society events. MSM also seem to be giving Clinton a free pass about saying [LYING] he was on Lolita Express 6 times and never went to the Island but records indicate he flew on it 26 times and did go to the Island.

Has she or any of the other girls accused Clinton? Can’t find anything.

The Daily Mail has written that Clinton was shagging Maxwell. That I find believable. I’d give the skank a <deleted> as well.

I can't help but wonder what her motivation was.    She had what some consider impressive social connections on her own without Epstein and she came from a back ground of wealth.   She hardly needed financial help from others.

She is clearly not a bad  looking lady and on her own she could have met and  engaged with many ladies.

I'll never figure out why she chose to satisfy an apparent sexual appetite illegally.548029324_maxwell1.png.b87b7ea9a7fdfb8a7bba1666c2f3c5a5.png1211590024_ScreenShot2020-07-11at9_46.01PM2.png.bc9be213ba8ce9f8bbd5451cac7425da.png

Wikipedia provides the most complete Maxwell profile.
What’s hard to understand? Birds of a feather: enablers with wealth and privilege. They got off on it, the life, the scene, the celebrity, girls and each other. Synergy.

    From the study you posted:

"However, the authors found no differences in rates of injury or death per 10,000 stops/arrests by race—that is, blacks and whites were equally likely to be injured or killed during a stop/arrest incident."

So yet another study confirms that the central complaint at the heart of BLM, that blacks are shot more than whites by police, as simply....false.

What part of this from the study did you miss, Logosone?

“Blacks had 2.8 times the rate of legal intervention death compared with whites;”

“Victims were predominantly male (96.1%) with a mean age of 36.7 years. Although a majority were white, black victims were over-represented (32.4%) relative to the U.S. population.f36 Blacks had 2.8 times the rate of legal intervention death compared with whites; rates among whites and Hispanics were similar.”

Couldn’t find logosone’s quote in the report, and suggest others read it themselves.

The point being is that people are people whatever their colour, religious beliefs etc. etc. There is no need to bring racism into a response when it should have been a tightening up of crimes committed countrywide. In other words, focus on reducing the serious crimes, particularly drug abuse crime rates, by whatever means. Which, in the USA, is pitiful, IMO.

I agree with you except that the question posed to Trump was a racial question and quoting facts pertinent to the question was his response.

I like that you agree with stephenterry’s post. Wouldn’t you rather it had been Trumps?

UK should be very careful siding with the US under the current regime.

    Sadly I now prefer china.

Shouldn’t be so negative. Come November 3rd there will be a huge flush and this US regime will be eliminated. The next will be more aggressive and intelligent.
The conflict with China under Xi is only just heating up. I don’t think it serves anyone to have dominate Chinese technology with what’s coming. Huawei had to go.

  8. “The land on which they built hotels and resorts was later declared to be a national forest,” he said. “Furthermore, the law allows only local residents to use lands for tourism-related purposes. So these resort and hotel owners are in the wrong, whether their land is in national forest areas or not.”

The department said there are about 80 operators who are under investigation.”

Hopefully they close these new resort operators and leave the small B&B style cabins on the farms in peace, but some how it never ends up that way.

  9. We know a couple and occasionally stay overnight. They’re a Mon (Christian) hill tribe who’ve carved small subsistence farms out of the mountain top, and found they can make money offering small one room cabins to Thai tourists for overnight stays. The Mon have been there for a long time and the government has tolerated their farms, but the home stays have become far too popular and numerous. There may be jealousy and not enough brown envelopes as well, plus a few large resorts have now set up and may not like the competition. They are paying taxes as well

Bit of a shame really. You should try it if you’re in the area.

Probably it's enough to make a video of him. And just in case he ask tell him you will go with that video to the police with is 50meters away. That should solve the problem on that location. And if a few more people do that also on other locations then he won't be seen anymore.

What? It’s not about him, it’s about the children. Geezuz.

  11. This thread is so PC.

No one cares about gang bangers shooting each other anymore than the mafia taking each other out (unless innocent bystanders are involved).

It’s that crazed incel with semiautomatic weapons shooting into a crowd from a high vantage point that has me worried. Just so happens he’s very probably white.

    Now there’s a mass shooting.

A tandoori oven 'bakes' it does not have naked flame or glowing coals inside. If you wanted to burn anything including body parts in a private garden you would need a crematorium oven to reduce them to ash. A statement that a servant was asked to light a 'tandoori' oven in a Consulate means only that someone wanted to cook Arabic style flat bread 'kubz'

Al Jazeera interviewed a worker who constructed the furnace who stated it was built according to specifications from the Saudi consul. It had to be deep and withstand temperatures above 1,000 degrees Celsius - hot enough to melt metal.
