“He had gone to Suphapreuk Court 2 in Suthep sub-district to invite his girlfriend Suphasri, 39, out for Songkran.”
I’m not buying it. Typically you’d make the invition by phone, then once it’s accepted you’d drive over to meet her.
He’s likely been stalking her, couldn’t get in the building, and then ambushed her with his invition in the car park.
She, fed up with his bs is packing heat, and let him have it after two warning shots made him <deleted> his pants.
Check the pants.

Not necessarily... American are allowed to own 100%... spousal or other names are not needed for us
Interesting and great news if you want to own a bar.
Under the treaty, Thailand restricts American investment from the following fields of business:[2]
- Communications
- Transportation
- Fiduciary functions
- Banking involving depository functions
- Exploitation of land and natural resources
- Owning land; and
- Domestic trade in agriculturalproducts.

The poor and hill tribes steal and burn down the forests all over the country every day of the year illegally and there is no public outcry. Never. Now this project is a completely legal and approved use of the land, but since it involves the rich the public suddenly finds it intolerable for "spiritual" reasons. If only the people actually cared about the forests.
Satire? Troll? Ignorant? Or all three?

Likely they’ve put up 100% of the money and their partner is their Thai wife or girlfriend, so think they own it until they find out they don’t.

Good point.
There’s probably a gang of them there.

Except, of course, that the Assad regime isn't beginning to win. It's been winning for a few years already..
Exactly.
His bombs can’t reach them so he resorts to chemical weapons which seep underground where they’re hiding.
Including woman and children.
This city is a big prize for him.

Why does this always happen in countries? Because the existing elite become so awful and oppressive, that anything, even the wrong thing, appears to be a better choice.
Trump is just a symptom, not a cause. In a few years he will be gone, but the disease that infects America will still be around. Personally, I think it will ultimately be resolved the same way the Soviet Union resolved their crisis. Namely, a breakup of the country into smaller, more manageable states that can make their own laws and eliminate the entrenched system.
P.S.
Oh, and BTW, it is human nature to double down on your bad choices in situations like this. People don't admit they were wrong and go back to the old order. Think Trump can't win a second term? Guess again.
Everyone other than the dullest trump supporter are now onto this bunch.

Good advice to any American citizen: there is nothing to be gained by talking to law enforcement officials who want to put you in jail.

Loveable Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg called his first few thousand users "dumb <deleted>" for trusting him with their data, published IM transcripts show. Facebook hasn't disputed the authenticity of the transcript.
The exchange apparently ran like this:
Zuck: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard
Zuck: Just ask.
Zuck: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS
[Redacted Friend's Name]: What? How'd you manage that one?
Zuck: People just submitted it.
Zuck: I don't know why.
Zuck: They "trust me"
Zuck: Dumb <deleted>

Years ago I listened to an interview on the CBC with a German journalist who’s beat was the Vatican.
He said the struggle within the Church isn’t theological ( you don’t get to the Vatican if you disagree ), it’s sexuality.
The Church is run for and by pedos.

Very good read for those interested.
The kingpins are the United Wa State Army (UWSA), a 25,000-strong militia known as Asia's most heavily-armed drug dealers who boast their own autonomous territories on the border with China and have close links with Beijing.

Sparky was a busy boy.
During this tournament, Trump (who married Melania Trump about 18 months earlier, and whose son Barron had been born in March) allegedly propositioned or had sex with at least four women, three of them adult film actresses and the fourth a Playboy model.

U.S. suggests Russia, Syria may tamper with Douma evidence, Moscow denies

Wrong!
The United Nations says it has provided the "necessary clearances" for a fact-finding mission from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate a suspected chemical attack in the Damascus suburb of Douma.
U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said Monday: "The United Nations has provided the necessary clearances for the OPCW team to go about its work in Douma. We have not denied the team any request for it to go to Douma."
