  1. I find it amazing that they are once again asking people to prepay for vaccine, when they have not sorted out when the 1st lot will arrive, and how it will be allocated, so they must be aiming the sale of this batch to a different bunch of potential recipients to the 1st
  2. old rues, now 35 years and its about £190 a week, all people have to earn their own pension by NI contributions of at least 10 years, minimum age of 66, my wife will be 66 and 4 months when she can claim. class 2 NI for self employed stamp is £3.05 a week, £15.40 a week for Class 3 voluntary stamp
  3. do you fit into any of the above categories, there are jabs available outside of Bangkok for expats, Pattaya, Khon Kaen, Sriracha its no good sitting at home waiting for a knock at the door did you register with the BCCT, if so it could be them that have arranged it, i had a message from the hospital, before the BCCT contacted me
  4. at the moment Phuket requires people to be fully vaccinated to enter, Thailand already has enough non vaccinated people
  5. just move your stuff out, sell what you can and then move back to Surin, it would seem at the moment you have no working business to sell.
  6. i have just put a new app on my android box, been using it for movies/tv shows, no buffering with small files available as well as large, all free of charge and uses torrents to stream the movie/tv show
  7. BCCT are arranging them in Pattaya, maybe other places will become available
  8. i had a detached retina back in 2011, i lost the sight complete in one eye, but after surgery the sight was restored, i would not wait, it needs dealing with immediately, i went to a local private hospital and they wanted to refer me to another hospital in the same group, but 3 days later, i travelled to Bangkok, i saw a doctor in a large government hospital, she waited for me to arrive at 8pm, she then arranged the operation at a nearby private hospital, where she did the operation the next day, the operation in 2011 was 80,000thb ( i think, bill was paid by insurance) half the amount that the 1st hospital wanted, the doctor is Dr. Somsiri Sukavatcharin|Bumrungrad International Hospital -hospital is โรงพยาบาล ตา หู คอ จมูก (eent.co.th) she works at various hospitals if i haven't mentioned it ' GET IT SORTED ASAP'
  9. I think you are wrong in that assumption of 150,000 doses to go to expats, the Thai government were the only ones to mention that that amount would go to expats. I was in the same boat as you yesterday, I was offered a Pfizer jab in Pattaya, although i have already received a 1st jab of AZ in Bangkok, I took the 'think of others route', you took the 'me me route', are you wrong in my eyes 'yes' you are, in your eyes 'no' , there is no way to justify your greediness, not even by saying your country donated it so why not, you would have done the same regardless of where the vaccine came from. if everyone did the same the available vaccine for others would be millions less.
  10. i registered on the BCCT scheme maybe 2 months or so ago, i have had 2 updates via email, yesterday i received an email from JIna and from BPH for a Pfizer jab on Monday at central festival, i have already received a AZ jab at phyathai2, so i cancelled, Jina is quick to reply, and helpful
  11. I think there will be doses available, the only problem is that people do not know if they will be allocated any vaccine from the reduced amount that the private hospital were due to receive, they may receive a refund. I will not need my reservation and a friend has 3 reservations he will not need booked for him and his family. The hospital we booked states a refund if no jab by the 31st dec. but i have no knowledge how many doses they have been allocated from the order they placed, or how they will allocate any reduced dose they receive,( if in fact they receive any before the end of the year) ie i may be allocated a dose but not require it, whereas someone else who needs the dose may not be allocated
  12. free doses can not be transfered yes medpark are good, but only as good as any vaccine they receive, the first sale of moderna was a complete shambles, was it 10 million that was prepaid for, and only a fraction of that amount will get to the people that paid, maybe there will be some of this 1st batch (that is transferable) available i have a friend that has 3 doses prepaid if he is allocated these they will not be required, unless depending when it arrives he could use some as a booster shot. i also have 2 shots ( i person) that may not be required. i think a lot of people may be in the same position, paid for moderna but managed to receive something else. yes ages, location and nationality would help with advice and offers
  13. for you look here - **Application for Certificate of Entry to Thailand for non-Thai nationals** - Royal Thai Embassy, London
  14. i have been to phyathai 2 had a jab of AZ, and medpark friend had a jab of pfizer, both are well organised, and not overly crowded, have you completed the form for samitivej sri-racha, seems to be still available showing sino, AZ and pfizer
  15. i am with you on this , the guy is obviously booked for 2 different courses of vaccine, one for AZ and another for pfizer, he must have an appointment for his 2nd AZ jab, not a good idea to mix at this early stage, BHP are not linking 2 different registration system, only 1 set of jabs should be free.
  16. when i completed my form i saw that az-az was showing vaccination times of, before 1400hrs and after 1400hrs, from memory it had the figures 45/100 on the before 1400hrs and 15/100 on the after 1400hrs, i took that to mean there were 100 doses on each of the 2 time slots, and the 45 and 15 were either that many appointments left or that many already booked.
  17. be vigilant, apply on all available websites. i have so far for myself and friends been accepted for Medpark 1 x Az, Phyathai2 2 x pfizer, 2 x AZ,( jabs all received) BHP 1x AZ, all via thailandintervac, waiting for appointments at Samithivej Sriracha Hospital Pfizer(again via thailandintervac), BCCT ( british chamber of commerce) AZ at unknown hospital in Pattaya not being flash but just to show it is possible to gets jabs, esp if you don't mind travelling to Bangkok
  18. its well underway, 2 storey high, but i think it has been closed at the moment due to infected, smuggled in workers
  19. thailandintervac.com still has a working link to medpark for pfizer, i used it yesterday for a friend, he gets the jab on wednesday, another friend received his jab there last friday the 13th, Samithivej Sriracha Hospital, Chonburi has a link for AZ, but once on the page pfizer is also shown as an option i think the expatvac registration program isn't that good, there were/are a few ways to get on a working list, but you have to be diligent, keep up to date on here, people are posting helpful links, check thailandintervac often throughout the day
  20. have you tried samitivej sriracha via thailandintervac.com, a report on here see broken record post above, i was lucky for a friend today at 9.05am for the 7th
