I want to try to to scan my palm after holding my cold can of Coke or iced coffee.
It does seem like it has gone from someone at the door checking the temperature to an honor system.
If the temperature was too high, will an alarm sound over the person just walk on by.I know someone that was not feeling great, but could not go to the pharmacy for fear of temperature scanners

I wonder if the result of this will be the same as the other two previous people that took the Covid test because they want to work overseas and tested positive. But Thailand government reported that with further investigation they only had dead virus in the body and we’re not contagious.
If it wasn’t for the testing, none of these cases would have been discovered. This does seem to support the thought that the virus is very much active here but symptoms are mild no testing unless severely ill and lifestyle(travel and contacts) suggests you are high risk.

Maybe he was just following the only Black Lives Matter organizers stating it’s OK to steal if it is to feed yourself or your family. It’s OK to do drugs if your life is horrible.

Active virus found in a child’s nose after three weeks sounds suspicious. Any link confirming that back?
This would imply they found a child with the virus, don’t know how long the child already had the virus, tested again after three weeks, and still had active contagious strain in their nose.
But I’m still curious about the two people that had been in Thailand over a month that tested positive while applying to travel outside of thailand. Thailand later claimed that it was only dead virus in the body and therefore the record still stands. How is thailand determining factor virus from kill virus?

What Visa do you currently have? Mon-B?
Do you have a university degree and original diploma?
I think he’s training courses usually take less than a month. When did you begin training to be a teacher?
When you pay the agency did they say they would be able to get you a work permit and a one-year extension of stay for Teaching? But I think some of these agencies farm you out to schools for low wages so they can guarantee a job.

I was at Ekkamai food court about 3:00-4:00 after regular school. It was packed with students- difficult to find a spare table. Some were eating, but most we just socializing. Nobody was wearing masks. Students crowded together (no masks) looking at the same phone or doing homework together. Students were laughing and enjoying themselves. There must be no Covid-19 or it would have spread like wild fire in this environment.
At my school, we are being strict about students and teachers wearing mask and social distancing. Teachers and students all get temperature check and sanitizing gel in the classrooms and entrance.
But outside of school, it seems many students are behaving the same as pre Covid=-19 (except for the mask hanging around their neck (or sometimes no mask visible)

Many countries have borrowed billions of dollars to help support businesses affected by COVID-19. Other than the lost tax revenue, the government has made extremely minimal support for people and businesses affected by COVID-19.
If Pi tourist industry collapses, they would likely ask the US to borrow billions of dollars from some of the country (maybe China) to give to Thailand to bail them out.
And the Thai economy will stay strong because they never had to borrow any money to help the people

I think to summarize; it is a real visa obtained by bribing officials to certify that you’re a volunteer for an NGO when you really are not helping anybody.
The risk is if the official receiving the bride is not sharing his bribes with the correct people and is caught and his stamps are investigated. -
Is this a real question or a hypothetical question? Paying money for volunteer visa that does not require volunteering.
This sounds similar to paying for a language visa (non ed) that does not require attendance at the school. I think many Language School still offer this option. And it is a real visa/ extension of stay by falsifying attendance reports to the government -
Since after the treatment, and the patient recovered, Trump haters will say the medicine it had no effect. But if the patient died, Trump haters would say it was because of the medicine.
The treatment was reported by many countries as successful if given early, until Trump started supporting it. But on critically ill patients it seems to have an adverse effect.
The virus is still quite new to gain any meaningful statistics and successful treatments, and especially on a successful vaccine. It’s very easy to bias your collection sample to prove your point.
I saw a study that people with low testosterone tend to get sicker from coronavirus. Coincidentally, men with low testosterone tend to be over 65 years old. But the study suggested it was low testosterone and not age that caused them to get more seriously ill.

Are asymptomatic people that tested positive after 6 days in quarantine forced to exit prepaid quarantine and pay to sleep in a hospital (no treatment needed).
Does anyone know if Thai people get virus test free from government at end of quarantine
-
Is this in response to the guy who arrived on 2 June, did his quarantine, and 10 weeks later, no symptoms, tested positive for COVID-19
I have a foreigner friend that was tested upon arrival, midway through his quarantine, and at the end of his quarantine. I am also curious if Thais get tested, at government expense, or released if asymptomatic after two weeks with no testing. But I’ve heard that 3 weeks is a general recovery time for people without complications.
I’m curious if people with no symptoms and no health problems that test positive during quarantine have to pay for expensive hospital stays. Unless there are medical problems, people testing positive knee quarantine and not hospitalization -
I agree, everyone buys what they want, and then some ask for money for what they need.
I knew someone had just gotten back from a two-week cruise. A group of people were organizing a dinner. She said she did not have the money to pay her share and ask for a reduced price. -
It arrived on 2 June and tested positive in August, it sounds like he got infected in the last two weeks and did not arrive with the virus.
For mild cases, it takes 3 to 4 weeks to fully recover.. So anyone arriving from overseas since April and turns out positive later must mean they contracted it outside Thailand- 1

There are three possible explanations
1. 14 day quarantine is not enough (Unlikely)
2. Tests are unreliable
3. Transmitted within Thailand from another infected person
what is most likely explanation?
-
The person tested positive 11 days after being on a flight with 18 infected people on. I wonder when she became infected and if she will have to bear the cost of any treatment

Often Thailand has reported people tested negative on arrival and positive one week after being in quarantine. But I suspect those people got it on the plane ride into thailand since Thai people do not need to be tested before boarding the plane.
From people that tested positive after one week, I am curious if their were other people on the plane that tested positive. For asymptomatic people that test positive are they required to have expensive hospital stays, or allowed to stay in quarantine until they recover.

Many comments that people assume he’s looking for a handout. Probably based on stating low monthly income. A reasonable assumption, but unknown.
If he’s using an income letter and falsified his income, then he is in trouble. Then people like him are the reason for mandatory health insurance.
But if he’s using 400,000 baht in the bank method, then he has enough money to pay his hospital bill. It may be painful financially, but at least he won’t need to be asking others for money. -
Does a US test people arriving from overseas?
-
Assuming he has 30,000 baht per month income with mean he has at least 400,000 baht in the bank and enough money to pay his hospital bills. Although maybe not enough next year to get another marriage visa.
Assuming the necklace really was worth two months of his salary, it’s sad he risk his life and his wife life chasing after it.
I can’t imagine living on that salary, and with a wife, but I’m in Bangkok and other places may be a lot cheaper

If the schools test scores averages were significantly higher than the past 5 to 6 years school performance , then they should’ve asked the school to submit the evidence for further evaluation.
I heard they adjusted the scores to match the past performance of the school. If the average test scores during Covid exams were 30 to 40% higher than the school’s past averages, they just lowered everybody’s scores to be in line with the school’s historical performance.- 1

I don’t recall it said that he couldn’t pay his medical bills, or just that it was expensive. Since his income does not qualify for a marriage visa, possibly he has 400,000 baht in the bank and can pay the hospital bill. Or, maybe Sweden issues the income verification letters with no verification of income and he has no money to pay for the hospital

I don’t know the culture in Sweden, but I would never wear jewelry with two months salary in a developing country.
But according to a spokesman for the Only Black Lives Matter group, stealing it’s OK if you need it to buy food for your family or drugs because you have bad conditions in your life.

Frequently Thailand reports foreigners tested negative on arrival and positive on the second coronavirus test.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Thailand reports that they discovered he caught it on the plane ride to Malaysia and he did not have it when he left Thailand. But Thailand is quick to blame foreign countries when someone arrives in Thailand and test negative but test positive on the second coronavirus test.

I’m confused. If he tested positive 8 days ago, how are his family and so many people finished the quarantine already?
Maybe if their contact with him was 1 week before he tested positive, then they only need to promise to stay in their home(Lol) for two weeks from their last contact with him
From my understanding of current rules of people entering thailand, if you test negative on arrival, you must test again after two weeks of quarantine. Are they going to give a second virus test to all of his past contacts after 2 weeks?
The virus check less than two weeks after contact would be checking for the source of the virus, and not whether anybody caught it from him.
I need to do the Paris check on everyone again after two weeks
