  1. The DLT inspection station didn't look at the bike. Their only concern was the age on ID card

  3. Waiting to buy a bike to do the test
  4. The DLT inspection station did not look at the bike, I showed them the Thai ID card only
  5. The kids don't have a mother
  6. My child is 15yo, eligible for motorbike license but the DLT refuse my child to purchase a motorbike in their name. I've tried a few of the local DLT inspection stations but they say must be 18yo. Anyone know anything different?
  7. They don't have time for AN forums. They're too busy getting drunk and arguing with everyone.
  8. Anyone know if it still happens, the Big C (Sukhumvit Rd Pattaya) car and motorbike auction?

  13. I'm looking for issues if it's not corrected. It's a forum, am I not allowed to ask. Report me if you feel the need
  14. Don't be concerned about crime, it's much worse in Australia. Nirun is a similar setup to that of view talay 1 and 2. Guys just want to drink local (lots of bars downstairs) get drunk, then stumble upstairs and sleep it off then start it all again the next day. You see the occasional argument and fights between these drunk expats, quite comical. These elderly, unfit, fat, drunk, expats fighting like school boys in the playground. It's not for me, sadly there are lots of lonely foreigners here, not me I have a large family and many close friends.
  15. 20 years ago I had a mate who owned a few condos in Nirun, he was making quite a good earnings from mostly Brits who lived there. I haven't been in there for a decade, there was an Aussie bar opposite Nirun around 10 years ago, great atmosphere, swimming pool, cheap food and drinks which probably attracted the Aussies to Nirun.
  16. It's a condominium, individual owners, Thai and foreigners
  17. Yes, agree. The problem will be future acounts/business, jobs applied for etc that she uses her ID card for, or she does any business with, will always have incorrect spelling
  18. Her middle name Madison was misspelt on Thai ID card Medison. Now bank account misspelt
  19. Becareful walking the perimeter of the buildings, always have the occasional foreigners jumping of balconies
  20. Flybird is just as run down but not as many foreigners as Nirun
  21. My daughter has both Thai and Australian passports. Her mother recently took her to City Hall for an ID card, she got the ID then they went to the bank and opened a bank account with Kasikorn bank. The problem is that both her Thai ID card and bank account have her middle name misspelt. So passports have a different middle name (misspelt) to her ID card and bank account. Looking for thoughts on best way moving forward. Cheers
  22. Due to the milk shortage I've left a note for the Mrs.
  23. You'll probably find the bank has closed the account.
  24. Thailand has been my home for more than 20 years. I've got a large family and a few close friends. Every day I do something more exciting than the last, it's just the best place on the planet to live.
