My mate is thinking of making a police report at the cop shop. Any input from you guys. Good idea or not?

I reckon my mate handled himself well. If a foreigner spat on me it would unleash the devil inside, I would have ripped his bloody head off.

Its OK he dresses litely, shorts and singlet. Its actually a short cut to the beer fridge. He likes my cold beer. Is there such a thing as normal behavior? So many weirdos in the world now, I reckon its extreme people that display “not normal behavior“ these days.

I spoke to him this morning, he seems to think French or even saying he may have been Russian.

My mate was a bit shaken when he arrived at my place, he told me around 3pm today, Tuesday 26th December a European guy, 30's, rudely pushed trolley in front of him at the fresh milk cabinet at Makro Sukhumit Pattaya. The rude man told my mate to watchout, my mate told him aggressively to watchout, then this European guy started calling my mate names and telling my mate to <deleted> off. My mate then went to the frozen section to pull out some frozen meat, then the European spat on my mate. My mate went straight to the service desk to ask for security. The European guy came up to the counter and started videoing my mate. My mate lost it knocking the phone out of his hand. The European then offered him outside, my mate walked towards the psycho guy, then psycho guy starts swinging his fist and trying to kick my mate, they were stood next to the service counter. Then the European starts swearing, saying he's going to kill my mate, making gestures if slitting my mates throat. A cop was in the shop, he told European guy to behave, then the European guy makes up some story saying he was scared to go to the carpark, saying my mate would hurt him. What a strange, psycho European. Anyway, the cop asked my mate to leave the shop, my mate paid for groceries, went to his car, drove of, the cop stood by, keeping a look out for psycho guy. I couldn't believe my mate when he arrived at my place, he threw me his phone and jumped in my swimming pool, fully clothed, wash that spit off he said. Anyone at Makro this afternoon

CTP for my PCX160 was 645 baht Anyone know the price of CTP for Honda Zoomer? Yamaha Mio? PCX150i?

Has anyone got a pricing schedule, list for CTP insurance both car and motorbike in Thailand. I know with motorbikes it depends on engine size (cc), is it the same for cars?

I'm looking to rent a 2 or 3 bedroom house in Ubon Ratchathani long term, starting late January or February 2024.

Paid for CTP, given documents, then told to go to information booth, given a number, when number called paid 100 baht for tax disc. at window number 3. Around 15 minutes. I asked if they would reopen small office on weekends Central Festival. Nope. So convenient when they had Saturday office big C Sukhumvit, then Central Festival

This is good news. Registration expires early March, I've got to go back home for a while, not sure if I will return before March. I'll get it done next few days.

I've got a PCX160 (2years old), I'd like to pay annual tax at the Pattaya DLT office. Do they sell insurance (CTP) at the DLT office near Regent school? How early before expiration can I pay?

Yep, in Australia that's the first floor but at Arcadia Beach Resort and most condos it's first floor is the ground floor.

It's Arcadia Beach Resort. Just a handful of condo owner occupiers, living there, my friend lives there. Its a dump, an Airbnb ghetto, they spend a fortune on security but must have Daily police patrols. Mostly Russian mafia living there with expired visas. The tourist police should send that multi million baht BMW smart car over there and get all those illegal, over stayers.

(name withheld) Why withhold the name? 😔 It was Arcadia Beach Resort. My mate told me about this incident. October was a slow month at Arcadia Beach Resort, only 1 death (stabbing) and this serious injury. Great place to stay if you're Airbnb, I'd hate to own a condo there.

Wrong Arcadia, it's Arcadia Beach Resort, QPM building manager is a woman (useless). Security guards are also useless I've been told, they do not get involved with confrontation, typical for Thai security

Police patrols are regular, 2 or 3 times daily, sign in sheet for the police is located at the very back, building B, police must sign on each visit

OK, I understand, it's probably because the majority of the condo owners at Arcadia Beach Resort are living abroad also the very few condo owners living on site is the reason why I'm not seeing comments regarding the safety, security and other concerns that need to be highlighted. I have a few issues with our Juristic management but thank the Lord they do not allow Airbnb at my condominium, honestly I'd hate to be living at these Arcadia Beach Resort, Continental that allow Airbnb residents. I hope the condo owners recover their outlay if they try and sell but I reckon its going to be a slum shortly.

The ladies get the miserable, negative attitude from the foreigners. Cheap Charlie's restaurants here in Pattaya is a great example. The Thai woman working in hospitality get fed up with the never ending, whinging, whining, complaining and aggressive foreigners, this bitter attitude brushes of on the staff. It's people like you bob smith, I see your regular moaning postings, it's people like you that the weak follower, then the weak become miserable and bitter like you. How about posting a positive, respectful article now and then. Most of your posts are negative, lots of Thai bashing 😔

Is Arcadia Beach Resort becoming an Airbnb ghetto? I've posted a few times now regarding condominium I own, we have a big problem with Juristic management etc. I saw this issue on the Pattaya Expats website, Arcadia Beach Resort and Arcadia Beach Continental, they allow Airbnb tenants which are causing problems, dangerous people, making lots of noise so the condo owners must pay for the police to do daily patrols, it sounds like these places are hell to live, both are built by Heights Holdings and QPM Juristic provide management. Any Arcadia Beach Resort or Arcadia Beach Continental condo owners here that can make comments regarding living standards, Airbnb, security etc. or any owners of Heights Holdings condo with issues? I've been told 2 of the 4 Arcadia Beach Resort committee members from Heights Holdings (the builder/developer), if true this would be the worst outcome for the condo owners. Juristic management should always be separated from the developer. I'm seeing quite a few articles about condominium management issues and was wondering how many condo owners in Thailand are having similar problems, also should I take my problems/issues to City Hall or Land Office, would these departments help resolve our condo owners problems? The issue is not about buying off the plan or not, it's no big deal, I could sell the condo tomorrow and double my money, I don't want to sell, it's a very nice development but it's not managed correctly, I think it may be illegal what they are doing.

I've bought 10 condos of the plan never had any issues. BTW, I mentioned that I bought of the plan in my initial posting, do you always make comments without reading people's posts?
