Here in Pattaya there are only two brands sold. Pfizer and Sandoz - at least that I have been able to find. And both are very expensive. Are there cheaper generic brands available? I'd really like to know as simvastatin causes me a lot of problems.

BTW, has anyone tried moringa? Does it work as good as the statins and does it have any side effects?

What sort of problems have you been experiencing with the Statins - muscle pain?

Yes. In different parts of the body, including arms and legs, hips ... seems to cause problems with my feet and ankles, making walking difficult. Shoulders feel a lot of pain, but strangely I can still swim. Most of it has disappeared since I stopped taking the simvastatin, but my cardio is not happy - she wants me to try atorvastatin.

There is alot of evidence that Statins reduce the amount of an Enzyme called CoQ10, which in turn seems to induce Muscle Aching.

I tried dating someone 26 years younger (im 45). We got along good with each other, but when we were in public i became increasingly self-conscious about how people were staring and the vibe about the age gap. She did not notice it as much. This led to me being more careful and watching how i acted with her around others. I was not really being myself.

Eventually it became an issue/felt weird that i could not completely overcome. Meeting the parents was also out for either of us. Just seemed too weird/afraid of possible negative appraisals.

this is perhaps another reason why young ladies like us older Great Looking secure minded educated guys. The middle aged guys are so insecure that they worry about what everyone thinks.... Hahaha.... One more time.... Hahaha

Quite like Emirates always seem to have decent veggie food, which I always have when flying.

I went to LHR about 5 mos ago, & although can't complain about anything, I found a couple of the female cabin staff a bit haughty in their attitude, as if serving Economy passengers was beneath them.

I suppose I could make a comment about how I would have liked one of them to be physicaly beneath me, but I won't...coz that's rude.
