If I didn't like it more here than my country of origin, I would move back.
I don't like double pricing at national parks,
And I find it difficult to tolerate the complete lack of driver training, and road safety.
It even annoys me when sometimes a blue plastic pipe springs a leak, or our pump makes funny noises.....
But apart from all that, I absolutely love being here in the land of smiles, and wouldn't have it any other way.

I did it years ago from Surat to Udon.
I think it cost 2000bht, and it took 3 days and I had to pick it up at the main post office.
I'm not sure I remember the price correctly, but I wasnt unhappy with the service.
No damage, and arrived quickly.

Take it to Quick and ask how much they will give you for it, then surf some car sale sites and see what your model is going for.
Usually, used car sales are quite buoyant here in Thailand, but I guess everything is up in the air at the moment.

If I where you, I would negotiate a 2.5m strip of land running on the side of his land to give you access.
If it's on your title deed, it's yours and you don't have to worry about future conflict.

Hi sheryl,
Any main dealer would be your first stop.
Unlike in the west, they don't leave you much room to negotiate the price down.
First you have to decide which make and model you like...
A good tip is to pick the latest, as you don't want to buy a new car, and 10 months later, it's the old model.
Once you've identified your model, visit the dealer, and explain that your paying cash.
Ask what packages the car comes with, and push for a little more.
If it's a toyota, tell them you're still to decide between that model, and a similar size car by mazda or Honda.
Your registration should definitely be free, as should your first year insurance.
There are some fantastic safety features on new cars right now.
My wife has a toyota CHR, and it has lane change and corrective steering, and intelligent cruise control.
If she's doing 90kph in cruise control, and a car in front is doing 40kph, her car automatically slows and follows the slower car at a safe distance.
Its very impressive, and no matter what make or model you choose, these are the type of extras you should be looking out for.

My advice would be to just buy the baby fish yourself, put them in the water in a blue net for a few months, buy your own food, and find your own buyers.
I think talapia take 2 years to get really big.
Excuse my spelling... Talapia, they call pra nin around here....
Another 2 good sellers are pra selid and pra King, which are both smaller and look like perch.
You can put all 3 in the same pond, but don't put predators like pra duk (catfish)
If you buy and sell the way you described, via a third party, you'll be sharing your profits with them, and they'll be making money on the fish and the food.

Visiting immigration every 3 months can be a stressful experience for many, so imagine how those guys feel, having to do it every day...
Rather them than me.

I think they're all still closed.
If you've got one in mind, just put it in Google maps search engine, and should say if open or closed.
I just did it with Retox game on bar, and it's still closed, so I imagine they all are.

Ip vanish has 6 active Sa servers and is one of the good providers.

If the truck is large, and full, say above 6 cubic tonne, then it could be fare, depending on how far the truck has to travel, and if the driver is expected to pay a tax to local enforcement for entering and driving through a municipality.
Also, it will soon be the annual time for all digging to stop, so I imagine if you're still getting dirt after that time, then you'll be paying a premium.
For some prospective, my friend lives 20k outside of our small town, and he just payed 250bht per truck from practically next door.
Where as I have just bought dirt for 550bht a truck, because im 500m from the town.

I would say an owl, but yesterday at dusk, I saw a large white kite type bird on my farm in the North East.
Never seen it before, so thought maybe it's migrating.
Ive had a peregrine falcon before, and as I didn't know they lived in Thailand, I googled it, and it said they are a winter visiter from Europe.

My advice would be to buy a smaller bottle, and don't srart drinking it until you can't take it anymore, but knowing it has to last you until you go to sleep.
And before you take the first drink of the day, get a shower and put some clean clothes on.
Maybe later down the line, you can go food shopping before you come home and have a drink.

I suspect you would have to go to 2 different shops.
A tuning (remap) shop for engine, exhaust, brakes and suspension,
And a good speaker shop for the interior.
Speaker shops hold a lot of competitions for the best turned out cars, with trophies and annual titles at stake.
If you can research the winners of these competitions, then that's your man.

A Huawei, or a Samsung galaxy would be fine for you.
Both decent quality.
You can choose the size of the keypad in the settings, so you can pick the largest size keys.
You can also pick the font size on your screen in settings.
This goes to quite large letters.
I advise you to get a good folding case to protect your phone from damage, and also a film screen protecter at your point of purchase, so it's all nice and clean and good to go.
Good luck not using Google... They're pretty much involved in most things of use with a smartphone, and are also a very good go to soarce for info for just about anything.

Oam on the ring road in chaweng is very good, but expensive.
There's a very good garage in Nathon, coming from your direction, go through the town and back onto the two way road.
Before you come to the roundabout, on your left side is a mechanics.
He's an old guy with a bent back, and his daughter also works on the cars.
I found them very good and very honest, and reasonable.

You can put luggage on a bus, unaccompanied, and have someone collect it at cm bus station for you.
Its common practice here, and considered by many as more reliable than the postal service that you can also use.
The post office in swampy is on level 4 departures in the far right corner, and is open 24/7

I'm looking for new air cons, and have whittled the choice down to the daikin sabai plus which just pips the carrier inverter because of better reviews in USA and longer warranty.
I personally, would remove the old unit before decorating, just in case your new installer doesn't put the new unit in the exact same place as the old.
It means you'll have to time the 2 jobs so you're not without air for too long.

You could boil it, let it cool, then refrigerate it?
The only other suggestion I could make, is buy from a water delivery man, where you return the bottles for a refund.
My Thai friend has one of these companies, and I was pleasantly impressed with how hygienic his setup was.
3 filters and spotlessly clean.
I buy my water from a different company, because of the distance involved, but if my local company is half as clean as this guy, then I'm happy.
I have to say, that both deliver in an old clapped out pickup, that doesn't do the image of cleanliness any justice.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PASSPORT.
IF she is really pregnant, and you're worried that the baby is yours, then you will need a Thai lawyer to get a dna test, then you can go from there.
It would be a good idea to back up or copy all conversations you've had and keep any transfare proof.

To my knowlage, you don't need health insurance for a marriage visa.
I'm sure someone with better knowlage than me will confirm this.
Saying that, we don't know what the requirements will be after the new norm is established.
You would be wise to have some form of insurance for your own protection.

I heard that a Thai national can bring a foreign car in, as long as it was registered in their name for 6 years.
Other than that, I agree with all the other posters about it not being worth while.
I just thought I'd mention it in case it was in your wife's name.

Cutting a perspex bowl with angle grinder, or ...
in DIY Forum
Posted
I just about remember using perspex in school.
We cut with a fine hand saw, and used a small polishing machine to smooth it off.
