After reading of the number of returnees testing positive for covid 19, plus the risk you're putting yourself in by connecting at hub airports, I would be looking to steer clear of the middle East, and fly direct before I thought of the danger of a cancelled flight.

I think they are within their right to do this if your wife Was at fault, and caused the accident.
It all hinges on the police report.
Ive been present, as a casual observer when one of these reports where made, and the locals seem to know the importance of it.
It can be like a game of poker.

They are still good skins, and available in Thailand

Firestick is available on lazada.
I think it costs about 2.5k.
Thats slightly cheaper than in Europe.
You can load your own apps onto it and watch just about any channel in the world.
Its advised to use a vpn.
On lazada now, you can also buy an android stick for less cost.
Basically, a firestick is a good quality android stick as it uses the android operating system.
You can also buy a good quality android box from lazada, that will do exactly the same but for under 1000bht.
Whatever you decide on, they don't come with channels already loaded.
You have to do that yourself.
For info on this, you should YouTube search
How to download filelinked.
This is a bulk downloader that enables you to install hundreds of apps that enable you to watch movies and live tv from around the world.
You need to type in a code, and the codes are available on a app with the same name that is available on playstore and appstore.
This app is not the actual filelinked app that you need to download.
It only gives the codes.
This you install on your phone, and the actual bulk downloader, you download onto your firestick or TV box.

unless a readily available vaccine comes along and even then, best case for that will be sometime 2021. ☹️
All this talk of vaccine is a bit far fetched in my opinion.
Not being American, I have no idea of the restrictions that you face compared to other citizens, but January is a long way off, and most countries are under pressure to stimulate their economies, especially in the travel and tourism sector.
So hang on in there, and good luck.
Where there's a will, there's usually a way.
Being from the UK, if I wanted to travel from Europe, I would have to self isolate on arrival in UK for 14 days, but I could fly to Dublin , take a hour bus ride to Belfast and be effectively in Britain, and free from restrictions.
I'm not condoning this...
Just saying..... Canada? ????

And there you have it ,money can buy your freedom here in Thailand
Albeit in this case lots and lots of money!
I don't think having money alone gets you off here in Thailand.
I think it's more a case of being in the small elite club that hold the monopoly on just about every item for sale in this country.

Why don't you just set your sights on returning before the expiration of your extension of stay, and renew it for 1900thb?
Much cheaper than an elite visa.

I'm also looking at solar and hot water.
Ive found about 4 companies that will install a 5k grid tie system for around 160k,
And a DIY kit for 110k,
But the solar hot water isn't as easy for me to nail down.
Apart from a really high end company that looks out of my price range, the best place I can find is alibaba.
I did have solar hot water installed in a house in samui about 9 years ago, so I know they're out there somewhere.
Finding them, searching in English is a handicap though.

You're right about the future of Bangkok.
For years, the elite 6% of this county's population, who allegedly own 60% of the country's wealth, have been buying up large areas of land around Pak Chong and its surrounding areas.

It's difficult to get on my high horse about boss redbull when our own officials and powers that be have no integrity.
The one and only reason that the lady hasn't had to answer th the British justice system is that she's seen as elite.

I would think that as long as the 4 employees are paying tax, that it wouldn't matter if they where absent at the time of an inspection, but surely your lawyer would be the best person to ask.

It's possible to grow them, and there is a local market for the fruit.
The only drawback seems to be that everybody's wife is talking about them right now, so the market might not be so buoyant in 5 years time.

a pile of building materials assembled into a structure, its no different to parking a caravan on someone else's land.
If you read the OP, the developer isnt even the owner of the land.
If there's a developer involved, then it's quite possible that there's more than one house on a plot of land.
The houses can have a chanote, but the land can be communal.
If it's only one house on its own, then I would agree with you, but the op did mention a developer.

Is it those guys who beat bin lids?
Don't know their name but very original.
Like a percussion version of sea sick Steve.

The best way to sell land, is to price it, so as it attracts potential buyers.
It looks to me like you've priced that land so you can keep it for ever.
