Prayut Won’t Be Named Palang Pracharath’s Candidate For PM: Thaksin
Eric Loh replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
His influence in full display in recent Bangkok ruling council election where PTP won 20 seats out of 50 member council. Stark contrast with PPP winning just 2 seats and DP winning 9. Bangkok is an important indicator for the rest of Thailand in the next election. Ex PTP Chadchart easily win the city governorship. Like or hate him his relevance to the country politics can’t be dismissed easily. -
Prayut Won’t Be Named Palang Pracharath’s Candidate For PM: Thaksin
Eric Loh replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
A dichotomy of opinions here by some Against free election and also against power grabbing. So what exactly do these confused folks recommend when they also said that all politicians are corrupted. My choice is to grant the wishes of the people in a free election. If the government is corrupt and is not serving the people well, let the people vote them out. Got to add, peaceful transfer of power and NO more illegal seizure of power by the military. -

Tony playing mind games with Prayut; messed him up when he is down and weak. Still he got this right and PPP will be committing harakiri in next election with him as candidate for PM when he is now the most unpopular politician in the country and even behind Tony's daughter. Time to pack up and vacate the political scene which you are ill suited. . -
Trump asks for a 'special master' to review Mar-a-Lago evidence

That was 1 of 60 grievance filled, insane, faked qoutes and victimhood posts on Truth Social in the last 24 hours. Really a sad reflection of a man in deep deep trouble messing up his brain. He keep doing that to the diriment of the GOP mid-term chances. -

Ozzy Osbourne says he's leaving the US because of gun violence
Eric Loh replied to Scott's topic in World News
Perhaps you missed the headline "Ozzy Osbourne says he's leaving the US because of gun violence". You do understand what is the defination of headline which is always in large print and is the main or key points of the news. The rest of the news are peripheral news. Doesn't change your diversion habit to hijack the narrative -

He is leaving US and the reason is gun violence. Your propensity to divert is predictable and boring -
Is this an indirect jibe at Prayut's promise to reform the RTP. The fracture between them is beginning to take shape. Will see.

Justice Department makes redacted Mar-a-Lago affidavit public
Eric Loh replied to Scott's topic in World News
He said “ . “If there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle… there’ll be riots in the streets,” That is as direct as you can possibly can say. Prosecute Trump and there’ll be riots in the streets. Incendiary language in a highly charged and volatile atmosphere. Irresponsible behavior and thuggery in demeanor. -

If he resign, he is eligible for next election. If the court decide against him, he can't run in next election. 2 Bahts worth that he will take the former route. In his tiny mind, he still think that his coalition can win and with the help of the appointed senators, he can still be Prime Minister. God forbid.

Excellent post. Just like to add that no Dems in Congress came out strongly to support her as regards to the email controversy unlike the Elise Stefanik, Kevin McCarthy, Mike Turner etc etc rushing to contort themselves in defense of the indefensible Trump. In fact the mere mention of Clinton's travails sent Dems scrambling to avoid nor defend her. Not those GOP cowards worshipping Trump. -
Biden cancels $10,000 in federal student loan debt for most borrowers
Eric Loh replied to Scott's topic in World News
What more to say about the national debt than that it’s taken a fifth of tax revenues to pay just the interest rate that can spend on meaningful policies to benefit the people. The worse aspect of this huge growing debt is that the dysfunction political system is not geared to do anything about it. The Rep Party need to contribute to policies for the people. Only one party is working for the people. The other working for one man. -
