It means that there is some unusual risk factor(s) that would make surgery unusually dangerous. Otherwise if 3 or more vessels were occluded, usual practice would have been a bypass.
It all sounds very odd.
Thanks for info.
I seem to recall that the Dr had said that if my syntax score was >33 I would need a bypass and it was 31. I am now 79 yo so my memory re the whole event is a bit patchy.
2 years after that I had 7 hour surgery for cancer in Bangkok with the excellent Dr you had recommended Professor Chucheep.

Five is possible (though very unusual-- as mentioned, bypass is usually preferred if more than 2 vessels are involved. Perhaos you had contraindications to surgery?).
If the other 2 stents were at a different procedure then likely replaced 2 of these original five, stents do sometimes get occluded.
The further two stents were inserted within a month of the 1st 5 and I was advised of them before any stents were inserted. In fact I was originally told I would need 9 in total but this was altered after the first procedure took place. Not sure what contraindications to surgery means.

Could not have been 7 stents (at one time) unless another part of the body than the heart also involved. There are only 5 major arteries in the heart (3 actually and then another 2 smaller branches).
Usually if 3 or more vessels are occluded they will go for bypass rather than stents.
I was originally advised I needed 9 but then had 5 inserted and 2 weeks later had 2. Are you you suggesting that the hospital charged me for stents they never inserted.
Sheryl, I have such high regard for you as you were the person who made the perfect recommendation for me of a Dr in Bangkok when it was discovered 2 years ago that I had a cancerous tumour and which subsequently saved my life.
After your comment, I am now concerned that I was conned by the Pyathai Hospital.

Actually doubt that 50k is very expensive for actual stent (but been 8 years since I had) - they are normally US made medical products and not cheap to buy regardless of hospital. Believe 7 is unusual as they should not be used for less than 70% blockage under current guidelines AFAIK.
Apparently 2 were totally blocked, I don't know about the rest.

I had 7 stents inserted 3 years ago at Pyathai Hospital, Siracha spread over 2 visits and costing 50k baht each plus all the other costs - around 600k baht in total. Have experienced other serious medical problems since then but so far they seem to be working really well.

Just today I stopped by at a shop on the bypass (railway) road between Khao Noi and Noen Plubwan.
Their prices seem to be reliable for me.
Which side of the railway, Sukhamvit or Dark Side

The Pattaya Consul is Bert Elson who owns the Tropical Bar on the Dark side. Tel 038-197-002
Just google Tropical Bar Pattaya for more info.
It is my understanding from another source that he is an honorary consul and therefore only deals with emergencies. (see previous post)

the only reference I see to your specific phone is to add contact favorites to the home screen as an icon.
Does your 'dialer' or 'people' app even show a presentation area for 'favorites', or even 'recently called'?
After much research on the internet I have set up a group in contacts named favourites and put them all in there. Thanks for your time.

You might not have the toggle option in the 'dialer', but should have it in your 'contacts' app. Look for that and see if the favorite 'star' is displayed in that app.
No I'm afraid it's not there either.

I have recently replaced an old I Phone with a Samsung A21. On my previous phone I could allocate some of my contacts as Favourites and they would appear at the top of the list. Is there a way I can do this on my Samsung phone as my old tired brain can't seem to find a solution.

What about using another email address? With Outlook Mail, my Newsletter was always hours late, no exceptions, and sometimes missing out altogether.
Now I use Yahoo and it is always on time morning and afternoon.
It is not a newsletter. It is a daily news video that doesn't play and has nothing to do with emails. As explained earlier I have tried various browsers.

Well, trying with Chrome (instead of Firefox) I have to click through a captcha.
And the links to three videos ("TODAY'S NEWS", "TODAY'S FULL SHOW" and "TODAY'S THAI TIME" are dead (do nothing) OR if I click the header some new site comes up but no video. Quite a mess.
So not all in order.
Use the contact form and describe the problems:
Thanks. I have tried various browsers and although accessing the web site is OK I cannot watch the daily videos. It worked fine until a week ago. I have sent a message to the link you mentioned.

Still not working for me. Have I accidently changed a setting on my computer that could have caused this to happen.

I had a rebate last year of about 200 pounds and they reduced my tax for this year by that amount.

I used Bangkok Bank last time and there was no problem
