Don't know - will not check it out - Fines 10000 Baht and more, if caught by the cops after curfew, said locals.
Wait for more reports, before you make a bet. Wouldn't be the first time they brake the closing order from Police.
Sorry for bad quality on pics, taken on long distance.

My understanding is the that the anti coup demonstrators are already starting their demonstrations and only the army can defuse the situation and/or the army and police don't like each other.

update: I contacted Pattaya Boxing World and the event is cancelled due to the curfew.
-
I have purchased tickets for a boxing event tonight that starts at 8:30pm until 11:30pm, more or less.
On my way home, is there a risk of me being in trouble? Are foreigners exempt from the curfew?

Thais love elephants but the only tattoos I usually see are religous, fish, tribal signs, chinese characters, and "John Was Here."
I wonder why...

Will go to check it out, but seems like they couldnt have picked a worse traffic area.
There is a parking lot and it's right off Sukhumvit. Sure is handy for people like me who live in north Pattaya and don't have a car.

Bring it to their attention, explain its causing a problem and can they help you.Nothing more.
By doing this you are reporting the problem, and by asking for help it makes them feel good to help you. It saves face for them even though they are at fault and you are not blaming them.
You catch more flies with honey than vinegar in Thailand, always try to maintain the smile, just as they do.
I understand. How does this advance the resolution of the problem?

Always nice to get another perspective.
I've been living in an apartment for 15 months. I'm a good tenant. Always pay on time and keep to myself. 2 weeks ago, the wifi stopped working and as of this writing, I'm still waiting for a repair. The wifi is included in the cost of the room. My rent is due this week. Should I withold some of the rent for the service that has not been provided and necessitating me paying for internet cafes or pay in full and not make waves? I do wish to remain as a tenant at this apartment. Thank you.

I have always dreamed bout being a policeman, but I got over it at the age of 8.
Others never do.
Sit at the tourist police desks on soi 9 and walking street as it appears you don't know what they do.
They give directions, help settle some common disputes (ie: bills in bars), and most are long term expats who have an idea how things work. If you can't speak Thai (or even if you do), if given a choice between dealing with a Thai copper or the tourist police officer, I know who I would prefer.
All to say, people get wound up about them but I see the relief on people's faces when they're in distress and there's a foreigner there to help them.

The roaches in this country are way bigger so maybe they're getting the little insects but they're not ridding my room of roaches (who are harmless). I find their poop all over my window sill every morning.

A new session started this week with a new crop of eager young women looking to advance their careers. The entire student body is female. MMMM...female body...
Anyway, get down there as the students need to practice...on you! I had a 4 hand massage there the other day for 2 hours = 100 baht.

I ran away to Bang Saray (which celebrates Songran 1 day only, today 4/20) for 2 days. Peace and quiet. Many happy people and very few foreigners. Hotel with wifi and AC @ 500 baht/night.

I think baht buses are great, one of the BEST things about Pattaya. What other city in the world has transport you can flag down at any point, comes past every few minutes and costs 10 baht? Shame other places don't have something similar. In the UK of course it would be against elf and safety.
I agree and they keep the speed of the traffic down. Who hasn't seen young Thai boys weaving in and out of traffic without a care in the world? Imagine if just 1 person moves their vehicle, he'd be creamed. Anyway, the slow, bulky songthaews force everyone to slow down. Perfect!

Look for cul de sac (dead end roads) and this limits the noise possibilities. There are so many choices. I found the perfect soi in Naklua.

9 months to make the baby and then not get them a helmet (I know their quality is debatable) while they ride holding onto mom's back.

No, just walk in and egister. They probably sell your phone number to spammers so I would use a fake phone number on the application.
