The school reopens this morning at 9:30-11:30am and then 12:30-2:30. Monday - Friday.

I ran away to Bang Saray (which celebrates Songran 1 day only, today 4/20) for 2 days. Peace and quiet. Many happy people and very few foreigners. Hotel with wifi and AC @ 500 baht/night.

I think baht buses are great, one of the BEST things about Pattaya. What other city in the world has transport you can flag down at any point, comes past every few minutes and costs 10 baht? Shame other places don't have something similar. In the UK of course it would be against elf and safety.
I agree and they keep the speed of the traffic down. Who hasn't seen young Thai boys weaving in and out of traffic without a care in the world? Imagine if just 1 person moves their vehicle, he'd be creamed. Anyway, the slow, bulky songthaews force everyone to slow down. Perfect!

Look for cul de sac (dead end roads) and this limits the noise possibilities. There are so many choices. I found the perfect soi in Naklua.

9 months to make the baby and then not get them a helmet (I know their quality is debatable) while they ride holding onto mom's back.

I live in north Pattaya on a cul de sac. Only residents come here and they're mostly all exhausted hotel workers and BKK hospital staff (I see their respective uniforms). They come home and pass out. This is paradise. Peace at last.

They keep speeds down. If none or less songthaews, Beach and 2nd would become raceways (close to that already).

2 solutions being discussed by experts:
1- Spikes on all buoys.
2- Warning signs in Thai only.

The buffet is always on all their hours or if not which hours?Lantern Indian buffet on 3rd road opp. Tony's gym. 200 baht net. The buffet is in the kitchen so the servers bring you a bowl of each dish they have + nan bread. Then you can re order as much as you like. Includes free ice cream. Open 11-11. Best deal in Pattaya.

It's all you can eat from 11-11. The buffet is in the kitchen and you are served all their dishes. Re-order the ones you like. I had 3 bowls of the masala and 2 bowls of the curry chicken.
I recommended going after sunset as the restaurant was very hot at 4pm when I visited.

Driving along 3rd road heading north, cross the north Pattaya road intersection and you will see some small garages on your left. Have had excellent service and paid much much less than I was prepared for. They do not speak English.
Thanks - are they before the big newish Chicken restaurant on the left or after?
After on the left but before soi Photisarn.

Here are the links to both SF and Major.
http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/en/timetable/lookup
http://www.majorcineplex.com/en/search-results/?movieId_0=&cinemaId_1=3
Unfortunately they're often not correct. SF Pattaya Beach shows for instance several movies not on their website so I suggest you call ahead for confirmation.
http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/en/timetable/lookup/cinema/Central-Pattaya-Beach
I find this link to be very reliable. However, the schedule only shows the movies after the time you are looking. For example, if it's 17:30 now, I can only see the movies after 17:30.
Different movies are shown in different theaters so price will vary based on whether it's a normal or deluxe theater so be prepared.

He was in bangkok last week
Sent from my iPhone
I saw him in Big C Extra as well. He will have a nice surprise if he pulls this stunt on a plain clothes policeman who feels like doing something about it. Surprised he's made it this far.

big c (old carrfour)
They make sandwiches where exactly please?
-
Where can I buy a fresh sandwich? Preferrably deli meats. Thank you.
1) Nana Deli (off soi Siam).
2) C-47 Cafe in Duck Square.
3) Subway.
4) Patrami on Rye (delivery only) http://www.pastramionryethailand.com/
5) Central Festival Pattaya Beach in the supermarket (but not fresh 100%)
6) ?

I'm game...can't be any worse than many of the massages I've had in the professional shops. Now the only thing is I wonder if they have any ladyboys.
Males, even with long hair and makeup, are not permited to study there.
No reason to assume the students can't massage. Many are very advanced or are already working but come back as a sign of respect for their teacher. Never had 1 bad massage there.
Well I may give it a try anyway as I like a good massage, especially if it's cheap. Though the thought of a female touching and rubbing me for a couple hours does give me the heebee-jeebees. Do you normally tip the girl like in a commercial establishment?
I give 20 baht tip. I went to day and there was a good turnout of foreigners enjoying Thai and foot massages so maybe my post here has helped the school's coffers.
