  1. No, maybe comparable with some African or South American countries. Where can you find convicted heroin smugglers in parliament?
  2. Most original yellow shirts were not royalists, but formed by Bangkok's middle class who had enough of the nepotism under the Thaksin regime. The yellow color group was 'hijacked" by the royalists to push their agenda through. Pretty much the same as the red shirts were used by the Shins,
  3. The powers to be seem to get away with everything as long as they dont touch the higher institutions. From watch collectors to heroin dealers, from assisting human traffickerss to mafia clans, even election thiefs, Thailand's government is made of Teflon.
  4. No 500 baht per vote. The canvassers came to our house.
  5. Here on Phuket its easier to find Kratom juice than fresh fruits. 5o or 60 baht for a big bottle. Super potent,
  6. I would like to add section 3: Moderation (except for guns) Bit of sugar or dope from time tontimecdoesnt hurt anyone.
  7. Sounds like your average dope or gun dealer's argument.
  8. Taxing people is great as it would discourage them to drink or eat too much sugar. Use the tax money to keep prices of fruits, veggies and health proteins low. How things are done in our home countries is totally irrelevant.
  9. Sugar is highly addictive. Try to eliminate sugar from your diet and you will have headaches and feel lethargic for a couple of days. As long as governments are subsidizing the sugar industry, the obisity problem will get worse with some very serious long term health issues. Not rocket science.
  10. Debt problems are comparable to substance abuse. Increasing the price of tabacco, alcohol or drugs has no effect on drug addicts. It only creates more problems, and make preditory lenders very happy. The keys are education and regulation, both for banks as households.
  11. Not just that, he promoted borrowing and credit claiming it would benefit domestic spending and overall economy.
  12. You keep comparing one criminal with another, What is wrong with you?
  13. Indeed, and you seem to be supporting one who committed murderous crimes in Thailand.
  14. Higher wages mrans less profit for big companies. Thailand thrives on exploitation, low wages and debt. Keep them in debt, keep them enslaved.
  15. His party didnt win the last election. Dont you know that fact?
  16. Is that before or after they whitewash Thaksin's crimes? And will they be paying the regular 500 per vote, or is there an inflation correction?
