  1. Big mistake, since it will attract more. Please do not copy the west.
  2. Deaf people often make up for their disability by heightening visual awareness. I'm guessing he, like most cyclists, generally hate hitting the brakes.
  3. She's so popular she had to be installed since there's no way she could win the nomination the usual way. The news media is just laying the groundwork for the steal by making it plausible she could win. Ps. pro-war neo-con Graham is no ally of Trump.
  4. Omg the covid fainting goats are back. 1500 people die everyday in this country from all causes. So far this year less than 1 per day from covid.
  5. After obtaining my initial licences, I've renewed my temp dl 3 X, always late into the grace period. Only had to write a test (and road test motorcycle) for the initial licence. I expect to only do the eye, reaction test etc as usual this time as well. Ps. I have never watched a video!
  6. Went in person to local office in minburi. Got appt for renewal. Up to 1 year grace for temp dl as usual.
  7. Yes it's for driver lic renewal. I'll bring my tm30 screenshot with the gf and her house registration paperwork. Hope that's enough. Immigration takes 2 weeks here for res cert.
  8. Would like to get residence cert at Canadian embassy as service is faster than immigration in bkk. I see receipt of address notification as a required doc in some websites. I only have tm30 app screenshot. Is that usually good enough for a res cert at most embassies?
  9. My 2 year temp license expired last year. I've always waited up to 12 months after my temp dl expired to renew (but tbh those were 1 year licences iirc.). Hoping to get 5 year as I have retirement visa now. 1. Is there no longer a grace period for temp dl? 2. Can I go to any land transport office in bkk? I'm in Minburi.
  10. 2' off the ground?? When I did it in Chiang mai it was only a few inches high. You mean 2"?
  11. I already had the tank off so only lifted the bowl. I could not see how it was held down so just tried lifting it. It came up without any resistance at all, exposing the blob of "cement". There was no putty or other sealant. How does the cement grab onto smooth tile? I'll see what tai watsadu has and if I can install a low profile flange on the tile . If not, I'll do it thai style as you suggest.
  12. Replacing toilet in the gf's new house. Only thing holding it down was gravity. There is no flange at all. Just an open pipe and Lots of what looks like grout to seal it. Is that normal here? Also in both bathrooms, all fixtures, a ton of black sludge in all pipes , much of it hardened in the end of the pipe restricting flow. Not too familiar with thai plumbing but wondering if it's worth redoing all the pipes. Probably not good for the recently installed RO system.
  13. Scooping them off the streets has the unintended consequence of creating more dogs, not less. Sterilize them and return to the streets, but euthanize or house aggresive dogs, seems the most practical solution here

    Water cooler

Thx for feedback. Your cooler experience doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I may just opt for 1 of those 1 gallon insulated jugs, filled daily, in the meantime. It doesn't help that some of the coolers are more expensive than the fridge we are about to buy.

    Water cooler

Looking to install R/O water filter in a house, plumbed to a cooler. I noticed coolers typically take the big blue 19L jugs. Alternatively, could be plumbed to fridge(yet to buy) with dispenser option, but noticed the fridges with that feature are bigger than the spot we have and most just have a plastic bucket in the door you fill.
