If you read the article with an open, alert mind the difference between Hamas and Israel is orders of magnitude Hamas, Obvious, massive, unparalleled war crimes of the worst types. One for the history books. Israel: Maybe collective punishment, someone suggested, for asking Gazans to move to safety. But others say no. Using munitions that, well OK, are not technically outlawed, but not nice. Then blocking aid that would go the enemy combatant Hamas anyway. And maybe someone did something. Even Hamas war crimes inside Gaza using citizens as human shields and placing combatants and weapons next to hospitals and public sanctuaries is far worse than any Israel crimes, if in fact there were any. Wipe out the rest of them. However real, the message was clear. I've hesitated to mention this but on the day of the attack videos were posted in pro Hamas propaganda streams showing live children being butchered. The videos were taken down as they appeared. I saw two, but I had to close the second one and log out, utterly horrific. Up close and clear, purposely filmed for posting, not body camera footage. I'm sure the intelligence agencies have this material.

Some of my Russian friends came to Thailand basically to stay alive. They hate Putin. They say everything you hear from Putin is a lie. One of their fathers whom I've known for decades, hates Putin so much he won't repeat his name (also for fear of his live, too). He also admires America, the West, and even Asia. Seeming one way or the other can also be due to media presentation. Some major media has been surprisingly accommodative of Hamas. Why? More controversy, more clicks. It's unfortunately the world we live in. But your question is still valid, if Hamas gets more media on it side is it achieving its goal?
