  1. I'd disagree with that. Google the figures for yourself. 0.98 is the figure for male to females aged from 15-64. Just think about what you are saying. If two thirds of the population were female that would mean there would be 2 women for every man, which is plainly ridiculous.

Sometimes Google isn't always right and I don't want to argue with you but try to consider these factors as I understand them from my own experience. Whenever a census is done in Thailand it's highly inaccurate because a huge %age of people are not living at their registered address. Dead people vote in Thailand. There are a lot of "missing" people. I have never heard a Thai man complain that he couldn't get a girl, you even see garbage/recycling guys with wives. However it's very common for women to complain that they can't get a man. Most Thai men have 2-3 wives. So in all practicalities there are at least 2 girls for every guy in Thailand. Even more so if you are fairly handsome, polite and have a bit of cash behind you. Once you get over the barrier of having a second wife the second wife complains to the first wife that you have a third wife ad infinitium and they sort their differences out together. As Fifty Two said "There is a girl forest out there" do with it as you please.

  2. Look Buddy I have lived here for 25 years and have two wives and much more Thai male friends than falung friends. They all tell me the same story and my Thai friends are Directors, Politicians, Generals etc. Not motorbike taxi drivers. Thai women want money for self preservation because there is no social security system. Also close to 2/3 of the population is female so they are always worried you are going to find someone else. Regarding the OP's post if you can't flush $20-$30,000 down the toilet today without feeling it, I would suggest you reconsider your plan of coming to Thailand.

Close to 2/3 of the population is female? The ratio is actually 0.98 male/female. You're the only clown on this thread as far as I can see. Directors, politicians, generals blah blah blah. You'll be telling us you were a navy seal in a past life next.

Impossible to change your point of view but if you could actually talk to most bar girls, caddies etc (single moms) they will either tell you their husband was killed in a M/C crash or drunk himself to death or got another wife. So I could be wrong but I believe the % is well over 50% in favor of females. They also live a lot longer too.

  3. Dear OP why don't you come to Thailand during your school holidays and have a good look around. Bangkok and Pattaya are the places where you stand to make most money. But even teaching at an International School will pay you less than $3k per month tops. Send an inquiry to Regents and Harrow schools. Regents Pattaya is separate from Regents Bangkok. If I didn't live in Thailand I'd live in Hong Kong, you can make money there.

Trying to teach a Thai man about Thai women. What a clown! You probably don't even speak Thai! 555

I really got to you didn't I? I don't bother to respond to your "I'm friends with generals, politicians therefore what I say is right" show for 15 minutes and you post again demanding a response? Based on everything you write, I can't imagine why any Thai woman would want to be in a relationship with you except for money. So it's not surprising at all that you believe all Thai women just want money.

    Two wives?

Most Thai men have two or three wives.

All women all over the World want security and a good standard of living and if you can't provide that she's either going to leave you or take what she can, ask Donald Trump if you don't believe me.

  6. I am a Thai man and I can't even trust my own Thai gf.. Can't understand why many many farangs are willing to trust Thai ladies. I lived and still doing business in North Carolina but retire here in Thailand.

Your statement is based solely on your situation. The OP's question was not related to your answer as you have generalised all thai women the same.

A-Hole! Every Thai woman is out for what she can get and it's up to you what you are willing to give her. They give a lot in return but there ain't no romance without finance. So go back to your magic world of unicorns and saving prostitutes from their "Fate". Your time will come if it hasn't already. Obviously Khun Sakthai is a well educated Thai man. How dare you criticize him you clown!

Sorry if you're being sarcastic but this is one of the most idiotic posts I've had the misfortune of reading here. steven100 made a very reasonable statement (hardly criticism) and you insult him and make offensive insinuations.

If you really believe what you write I feel sorry for you, but I suggest you really need to meet more Thai people, the bulk of them are honest people. Just remember that the ones who go out hoping to meet you are far more likely to be the dishonest ones.

  8. You may like this http://www.cerakoteguncoatings.com/ I use it on my guns but now they have a high temp version for engines and exhausts http://www.cerakotehightemp.com/ It's ceramic and can be applied to plastic or metal either air cured or baked. Baked is best, just put it in the oven. They say you need to sandblast but as long as you give the surface a good sanding it'll be fine but you must soak in acetone before spraying.

  9. The main problem with mods is insurance so just get Por Ror Bor insurance for the bike and personal accident insurance for yourself. You'll be covered for 2-3 times the amount for the same price. Of course theft and damage to your bike won't be covered.

Alway mod my bikes and never ever had a problem with insurance.

+1 My insurance company gets a 360° collage of high res photos for their database every year. All good with them.

Technically the Insurance Co. could try to not honor a claim if you have increased the BHP of the bike. They will try everything if big money is involved. Just a heads up.

  10. I padi 500 thb a couple of times at hua hin too.

Apart from that, i always modify my bikes and never fined for anything else.

It is not illegal to modify your bike as long as you put parts passed from certain thai standards such as a TIS stamp.

Iam keen to have my pipe passed as legal.

How do I do this ?

If you bought a quality exhaust it should come with a Euro 3 Cert. Mine has a cert like a credit card.

  11. Post BS - expect to be called on it.

    Talking about bs?

After this thread and your constant bs you will be always called in this forum. Guess though how you will be called? Not positive sure:lol:

Seedy, Hey Man you admitted you had a Goldwing. That's the biggest pile of krap ever.

  12. The bike is a 1996 with an long time unused engine. I am in Bangkok.

the color of the coolant looked like it has been mixed with petrol but I could not smell anything. There is no sludge in the coolant like you would have expected when the seals are broken.

I can not locate any oil leaks.

The clutch cable is not sticking I checked that already but, I think there is something inside the clutch what isn't correct.

It seems that there are many possibilities on this so I think I will bring it back to the mechanic and let him change the clutch, all the rubbers and seals and check everything better.

You would not be able to detect where oil is entering the coolant because it will be a hairline fracture in the cylinder. You'd have to strip the engine. Get the clutch working and drive the bike and keep checking if the coolant level drops. You may be able to see small drops of water coming out of the exhaust. Anyway sounds like it needs new everything. Probably best to sell it to some clown and buy a NEW bike.

  13. Moral of the story and I've been there and got the T-Shirt. Don't mess with wheel and tire sizes. Millions of $$$$ go into designing the correct wheel and tire for your vehicle. Don't screw with them especially if you have ABS. If you want to spend cash buy the most expensive tires you can afford and any extra cash on brakes.

  14. Kudo's to Harley for marketing accessories to their target market.

Yeah, Dennis Hopper is spinning in his grave! Every other bike co. said screw you Baboo! I don't like Harleys or any other sort of cruiser/chopper but HD is an American icon that is now worth jack.

  15. It is definitely not necessary to wear full gear when riding.

Feel free to ride stark nekked if you choose.

Its a choice and besides a helmet nothing is mandatory.

I wish a t shirt and flip flops would have the same protection as my riding gear it certainly is less of a hassle.

Yeah I wish I had an invisible forcefield around me and 100 Trillion Dollars and was immortal and was El Rey Del Mundo!

  16. "Maybe I should add a slightly shaming action of me, when have the petrol leek I emptied the tank (with petrol in a plastic jug). And I threw water in the tank since I needed to locate where the petrol was coming from but didn't want to have more petrol on the floor to not get complaints from my neighbors. After locating the leek, I think I removed all the water from the engine again. But in order to have the fluid leeking I had to try and start the engine so also with the water. (yes this is pretty shaming I know :-)"

Thinking just doesn't cut it buddy. Take it to a Pro or the Dealer at least someone with a torque wrench.

  17. First thing change your mechanic. He's a clown. Never play with things you don't understand. Pouring water into an engine can destroy it because it is impossible to compress a liquid. This could have seriously damaged your pistons. Although gasoline is a liquid it is turned into a vapour before entering the cylinder. Oil in coolant means your cylinder is cracked especially if you have foam in the oil. You can put sticky tape on everything but if you want a reliable bike get the engine stripped down and inspected and gaskets, seals etc. replaced and valves and clutch checked properly. It's not expensive. How old is the bike?

  18. ^^^ So only good as a city commuter. You can't pull up to a "charge station", have a quick re-charge and be on your way 5 min later so no good for any sort of travel.

The Zero and the Lightning both have a usable range of about 100 miles that's 160 km which is about a tank of gas on a gas bike. Only one hour to recharge. I would expect you can have lunch and plug it in to a normal socket.

  19. Thanks RSD

+1. 1000PS of Austria took it to 180kmh with nothing falling off either. Performance and weight are respectable for such a bike and as RSD says, the information is out there. Also, HD stipulate that USA and Canada market bikes are manufactured in York, Pennsylvania NOT India and this info has been posted on this thread and yet some choose to ignore this fact. Why? I wonder.

I expect that is a major selling point "Parts don't drop off at 180kph at least on the first day". Call me old fashioned but I like my Italian bikes made in Italy, American bikes - America and Jap bikes - Japan.

The Dyno chart is very strange. Shows the BHP in a straight vertical line with no drop off. Either this bike has tons more BHP or it's a lie. All Dyno charts look like an upside down "J".
