Along with the 90 day reporting and the TM30 form this is another of the most stupidest things I have seen here. 

So you pay on arrival?  What will the lines at the airport be like when this happen.  It is bad enough now.  Us on extension of stay will be next in line.

It is legal because you say it is legal.

I thought that was the Bangkok Post they were talking about.  Just one less tree to be cut down.

Deny him a visa to go to Japan and maybe he will get the message.

How many times is this going to happen here before tourist think they can handle driving here.  Every day it seems that some foreign die on the roads here.  Wake up, Foreigners on motorcycles and Thai drivers don't mix.

The road going into the main part of town is to the left of that bridge.  I hope they inform folks in advance.  I go that way to get into town.

You need to get a letter from Bangkok Bank to show all international funds transferred into your Bangkok Bank account.   I was informed they get it from the main office and it takes 5 days to get it.  Not sure of the cost  (if any).  I am going in next week to request my letter for my appointment at immigration on the 20th of June.

Ratchaburi Immigration has escalators but both of them are closed since the day they open around two years ago,  You have to take the stairs, no choice. 

Bangkok Bank told me that the letter showing all my international fund transfers for the last year comes from the main office.  So the letter will be on the day they write the letter and would have to be older than the day you go to immigration.

You can count on it and so are all the insurance companies. 

This seems more like an advertisement than to provide the information we really already knew.  But you can just get ahold of him if you need to know if the requirements affect you.  I have better health insurance than he has and it free for my service.

I was told at my immigration office that I will need the letter of all international transfers.  They come from the main office and my Bangkok Bank told me to apply for it 5 days prior.  My IO also said that I need a printed copy of the bank statement along with the confirmation letter that the bank account is real.   This is for the 65,000 baht a month method.

O-A applicants have no money in Thailand.

Extension applicants do.

 

If you are on an extension of stay using the 65,000 baht a month does not always mean you have money in the bank.  You could spend that money each month.
