  1. you better check again, two months for an extension, same day for applying for a non O visa within Thailand
  2. I think your confusion is that he is not applying for an extension but an O visa in country, my guess you already had a visa of some type when you arrived in Thailand originally
  3. you better quit before you get too far behind
  4. what you are posting is an application for an extension of stay, he is applying for a non O would need either a TM86 or87
  5. you are talking about an extension of a visa or an extension of permission to stay. When applying for an O based on Retirement the rule is that it has to be in the bank on the day of application
  6. 60 day tourist visas are not issued in Thailand, the only 60 day you can get is if you are married to a Thai
  7. not possible unless you are married to a Thai
  8. I guess I have been lucky, seven years and never a problem
  9. my wife has direct deposit and hers always arrives before mine, I have BKK Bank she uses Krungthai
  10. Everyone that i know that is getting direct deposit got their's on the 3rd, good luck, yesterday and today were both bank holidays
  11. I did receive mine today
  12. I've been getting direct deposit to BKK bank for seven years, never latter than the fourth, all deposits show international transfer so no problem with Immigration, my deposit did arrive today
  13. You are only get away with the visa fee if you don't want to do a same day in and out
  14. sorry, misunderstood, all I can remember was that it was a younger lady, could speak English quite well, I don't think you would have any issues with anyone who would be helping you there,
  15. SS is not considered as current money
  16. I personally drove my friend to Ban Pakkad, sorry don't do taxi service .m
  17. The two visa exempt entries is for land border crossings, there is no set limit for entries by air, you should have no problems
  18. Just took a friend of mine to Ban Pakkad last week, never crossed the border, one of the Cambodian workers took care of everything all in 2000 baht, that was for the visa, all paperwork and not having to do a border crossing
  19. didn't know that, but it shouldn't make any difference they are all electronic transfers which should show up when they arrive. If not I guess it would be the 8th, but I can't see that happening, been doing it for seven years, and never gotten it latter than the 4th
  20. My guess is that you would most likely get it on the 3rd of May, worst case on the 5th, last couple of months my payment has come in to late in the day for me to make it to the bank before it closed, no big deal except if it comes in late on a Friday then I have to wait until Monday. Wife had Krungthai Bank IDD, and hers always comes in early on the 3rd
  21. No insurance requirements when applying in Thailand
  22. If you have visa or an extension of the visa a return ticket is not required, just make sure you have a re entry permit when leaving the country
  23. They can do it in less than ten minutes on the spot, can get up to six months instantly, if you want to get a 12 month statement it has to go to Bangkok Headquarters so takes 3-5 business days, other banks can do them same day
