    If you get an International Driving Permit before you arrive you will not have to take the computer test, just vision, braking and depth perception test, strongly suggest you get the IDP

    when I came in back in 2016 I had over 20,000 dollars, me and the wife, didn't think it was an issue, didn't know about the reporting of money, got sniffed out by a dog at the airport in Minneapolis, got ran over the coals by the agent in charge, he let me know about the $10,000 dollar per person declaration, said he didn't care how much I took with me just had to report it. And yes he said he could have taken it if he wanted too.

    As long as he still has a valid visa he should be getting a 90 day permission to stay on his arrival

    You can have two accounts at the same bank, I use BKK Bank one with a card and one without

    Using International Direct Deposit you can use any Thai bank, ACH is only for Bangkok Bank. I use ACH, wife using IDD, wife uses Krungthai Bank

    Have done it twice never been asked, but as said by another poster good advice to have it just in case, I used the Cambodian border, just make sure that you do not have a reentry permit
