I couldnt care less but obviously you fall into that category.
Well no not at all. You seem quite upset. If you couldnt care less you wouldnt have commented in the first place. And then to get snarly at me as well. Perhaps you need a bex amd a good lie down.
You really shouldnt judge or make assumptions about people of whom you know nothing.

Exactly. Unfortunately there are a number of people many on this forum who believe happiness is getting smashed every night.
For them it may be. Why does it bother you?

In reality, the only foolproof way for humans to achieve happiness, the only 'key' to happiness, necessarily must come to us through gene manipulation.
We are now entering our Brave New World in which gene manipulation will soon become commonplace.
This is why I mentioned CRISPR-Cas9 technology, in my earlier comment.
It is entirely within the bounds of presently understood science that we will soon be able to manipulate genes in ways which alter our "set-point" of perceived happiness, either up or down.
Gene manipulation for the purpose of augmenting feelings of happiness is entirely within the realm of what today's science tells us is possible.
We all know that some people are just naturally happier than others. Very soon, we will be able to identify the cluster of genes responsible for optimism and happiness, and singing while working.
Once identified, then these genes will easily become susceptible to manipulation.
For example.
Think of yourselves as ears of corn. No more, no less.
We have long been using traditional techniques to select for various varieties of corn.
Some corn is sweet, which we eat. And other varieties of corn are grown for cattle feed, or for industrial uses.
Recently, two dudes got a Nobel, in record time, for their work on CRISPR-CAS9, and gene manipulation. One of these dudes was a girl, and fairly young.
Now flash back to the film 'Children of the Corn'. And then put 2 and 2 together.
We are just now entering a new age of what we had once considered to be science fiction. We can even manipulate genes in vitro.
The drug envisioned by Huxley, Soma, is now so retro. We have already leapfrogged ahead of Huxley's greatest hopes for Mankind.
In my view, I believe we can soon, within the next 15 years, expect to see a Happiness vaccine. To be more precise, we will have two vaccines. We will have one for happiness, and another vaccine for unhappiness. In other words, we will each have the ability to dial in any degree of happiness or unhappiness, according to our specific requirements.
Some of us require unhappiness in order to function at our peak. We all love that tune about fruit hanging from poplar trees. A magnificent song such as this would never have been composed out of sheer happiness.
Tortured souls have so much to offer us. Without seeing the unhappiness of others, then how would we happy people know if we were happy or sad?
Happiness is just another of those relative terms signifying nothing.
When the Happiness vaccine becomes readily available, maybe from Pfizer, how many doses do you think you will need? Six?
If angst is an important factor contributing to the creative process, in some cases, will our culture survive the Happiness vaccine? Maybe just ask Huxley. Life would not be Life on Soma.
As somebody, maybe Elias, said in the film, Platoon, "Take the pain."
Such a happy tune....
Such a happy life.
Such a great singer.
Such a gift.
Are you not getting enough attention in your rubbish threads?

They knew where it was going to end. You think these massive operations like the Dispensary, Prikpot, Bloom et al dont have the support of the government. As i stated before if you dig a little bit you wont be at all surprised how many of these companies have someone with the name na ayuthaya involved. The anti pot brigade on here are tripping if they think this was all done as some mistake which will be wound back. Theres billions involved here. If there is to be any regualtion it will only to be make sure that all the money to be made on the "recreational side" will flow into the pockets of the usual suspects that run everything else.

Post a link up then .
Ifs its completely legal , then it wouldn't be against any rules to post a link up to things being sold legally .
If there's anything illegal going on, it would be against forum rules to post a link to it
Mate there like 3 companies sponsoring this thread and this forum you don't have to look far just scroll up. Strainz, Prikpot, Bloom. Need I go on?

People are just waiting for the law to be clarified.
I think people who are arguing "the cat's out of the bag" and that the open sale and usage of cannabis for recreational purposes is here to stay are kidding themselves. A major walk back is in the works.
I think cannabis tourism is an absolute abomination. Anyone promoting this idea has put financial gain and self-interest ahead of the interests of Thai society as a whole.
I know these are unpopular opinions on this forum, but I'm entitled to voice them. And furthermore, I think these views are in line with a sizeable majority of the Thai people.
Well the majority of the Thai people (including the Thaier than Thai) may be REALLY surprised to know how many of the recreational cannabis commpanies have people named Na Ayuthaya on the books. Not surprisingly if you really stop to think about it.

The alleged concern by some regarding the "youth of Thailand" is nothing more than misplaced virtue signalling and people grasping at straws . "ban it if only for the sake of kids and the mentally ill" etc etc
Kids ( and everybody else) have always had easy access to cannabis regardless of regulations. Something that the prohibitionists don't seem to be able to grasp is that its always been available and always will be.
I haven't heard any of these "concerned" people voice any opposition to the legal status of alcohol for the same reasons, Their "concern" for the youth of Thailand seems to disappear when they realise that it may impact their own consumption of the legalised and dangerous drug that they happen to like. They also complain on here frequently regarding any restrictions regarding the availability of alcohol that were put in place to protect kids
Bearing that in mind , its (almost) understandable that objections are voiced from teetotallers, for obvious reasons ! but for anybody who enjoys alcohol to object to the cannabis legalisation is absolute hypocrisy and based entirely on fear and ignorance. After all 100 years of U;S funded "reefer madness" will not disappear over night
They smugly post links to any anti cannabis propaganda they can find on the internet whilst dismissing any other relevant facts as worthless. However they all choose to ignore the fact that there is at least 100 times more information available on the internet highlighting the problems of alcohol consumption
Realistically how can cannabis be illegal, and, along with its users be vilified when alcohol is legal and embraced, to the extent that abstainers often need to explain themselves and are often viewed with a mixture of suspicion and disdain?
Surely If one is banned the other should be banned also
As they say ...."people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" but I prefer "live and let live"
I'm not advocating a ban on alcohol or anything else for that matter but in the interests of "fairness" maybe its the only way forward hahahahaha

The day after it became legal i saw many pictures of fully grown plants.
In front of the house now instead of guerilla style.
Eggs zachary. Like coincidentally there was 1000s of pounds of hydro just miraculously waiting to be sold the DAY it became legal. And people lining up around the block to buy it. Strange.

Wow a poll of 2000 people. Like the polls they constantly say what an incredible job the junta and co are doing? Mate your entitled to your opinion but surely not even you put any faith in one poll from the Nation. Its a country of near 80 million i would go so far to say as you have zero knowledge of what "most" of the population would be interested in. Stop extracting the urine.

How many people end up wiped out on the road from being a bit too high? Not many. How many people who are high cause horrific accidents? Not many.
The anti pot brigade have no interest in discussing the effects of alcohol or tobacco (mostly because that's their drug of choice) anyone with any sense already knows the toll. The anti pot brigade just want to drum up reefer madness tales and discuss things of which they have very little experience.

Hope not. ????????????????????????????
Truth be told but this has nothing to do with any concern for the community or health issues as much as the rabid anti pot mob on here would like to pretend. This is all about, like everything else in Thailand, reigning it in long enough so a monopoly can be constructed to put all the wealth and power in the hands of one or 2 Thai families.
They don't like everyone earning. Maybe a couple baht but certainly not the lions share.
