If you want a free market economy you cannot expect the Government to interfere every time you have a problem. The growers have a choice free market or regulated. -
Government Urged to Relax Travel Restrictions
Paul Henry replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thailand really needs good leadership. Get the priorities right and put the people before the politicians and personal profit. Hopefully a legitimate elction may bring in some sensible, honest leaders who will put people first. -
I don't think your insurance will cover costs associated with a false positive test. The reason is you are not sick and were not sick when tested. Just the test was not accurate. They will hang on to the "Test and Go" for as long as possible. They are only interested in the money they can rake off once the tourist has arrived. The cost of the pre flight PCR test is paid in the home country so has no financial benefit to Thailand and its leaches.

No you wil have to reapply. The website says you can edit info but it then tells you to submit a new registration. I have been working on this "impossible system" for a Thai friend. They state Thai nationals do need Covid Insurance we, submitted a Thai National application with Thai ID card details and copy. Tha application was rejected because there was no insurance certificate attached. Three applications all rejected for things that make no sence. It is know wonder tourists are not interested in the Test and Go bulls**t. The quicker they get rid of it may see more tourist returning.

Without doubt another well thought through plan by the brilliant minds that run the country. Meanwhile millions of tourists and Thais living overseas are waiting for the Government to change the ridiculous border entry law to change so they may come here without all the hoops to jump through. Now that all the countries bordering Thailand have open borders how long can the greedy decision makers keep up the facade of the safe boarders which they are milking all the way to the bank. We will see a change before July, they cannot sit by and watch all the tourist money going to other countries. Greed will always drive the decisions.

What a farce! Bars can open as restaurants but not as bars. I am sure Covid and the clients are protected from spread and infection by the fact that a bar serves food. By some Thai magic food will stop any spread of the disease and keep the staff and clients safe. "PURE MAGIC" You get your free amulet when you pay your bill. About time this Government got real and moved into the twenty first century and forgot about their back pockets

Maybe Trump should go to Russia as NATO's secret weapon. He succsessfully divided the USA so maybe he can do the same in Russia. He can even bragg about his latest claim that he told Putin he would bomb (nuke) Moscow.

Spoke to a friend yesterday who just returned from Thailand after his trip to catch up with family. His story is beyond belief, F*** up after F***. From airline schedules changing, Covid tests, empty streets and bars, the list goes on. A lot of the Government demands added conciderable cost to the trip. No incentive to visit "Thailand the land of smiles" should be "Thailand the land of confusion and costs"

Mr Derek please answer this question I pose. China is big brother, so is USA so its ok for them to invade their neighbours even when they are soverign nations. So most of east asia can be overrun by China and the USA can take over Mexico and Central America with no repercussions. Your logic defies reason.

Brickbat by name, Brickbat by nature. Putin is clearly the aggressor or are 90% of the countries (including many Russians) all wrong, now including Thailand who originally sat on the fence. Ukraine should target the stalled Russian convoys with incendiary weapons as the vehicles can't move in any direction and would act like dominoes along the lenght of the convoy.
