  1. IMHO
Pleading not-guilty should be seen as commuting perjury if you are later found guilty?

The evidence is not some trumped up charge given that we've all seen the evidence albeit written or on videos. Hopefully, these murderous little Bastards feel and get the full brunt of the law after this trial is over. Lucky they're Thai. Otherwise pleading not guilty wouldn't be an easy option.

Exactly! When was the last time it was reported that a planned terror attack by fundamental Islamists was foiled by moderate Muslims reporting the plan?

    I sense anger :sorry:

Should I stop sending out posts that seem to interest the majority but enrages the minority that get lost a little along the way perhaps     :post-4641-1156694572:

  3. We all know the overwhelming majority of Muslims are not terrorists. But acknowledging that there is a link between Islam and terror is appropriate and necessary.

    Now, I'm no expert,
However, there are so many Muslims all around the world and these Islamic terrorists are a tiny percentage.

Why, can't this majority not extinguish this minority proving to the world they really are a peace loving religion if this is the case.

    Always puzzles me ?

  4. I went to Soi Cowbow about 8 years ago and went into a gogo bar (probably not allowed to name it, defamation etc). The 'madame' explained that the girls wearing black skirts and silver tops were 16-17 and cost more. They didn't look particularly young so I've no idea whether it was true. It seemed dodgy that someone would claim that: either a sting to extort money from people who went with the girls or just BS to get more custom. I haven't been back so I don't know if the place is still there.

    It's still there
So are those same girls still aged 16-17 years old

If it's actually 5 metre that would be the biggest cobra ever nabbed. Google gives 4.7 metre as the biggest ever captured. But you can't  believe everything you read.

    Google it

My friend. Everything on TV is true and don't be overcome by its welcoming members always willing to help out. They're as trusting as this King Cobra not to bite you if it had the chance :coffee1:

  6. What was the need of that nasty little rant. Nobody said the ambassador was coming to give approval of any such thing.

It said they were going to strengthen their relations, and why shouldn't they since nz has been a friend of Thailand for a very long time. Perhaps you might need to brush up on reading for understanding skills, lest you might be mistaken for having the brains of a sheep.

A lion doesn't concern itself with the opinions of sheep. Baa baa baa

Yes, my wife (whom I share frequent open and frank discussions regarding the politics of Thailand, and agrees with the majority of my views) is also concerned that my comments here are being noted... "Be careful darling" has been uttered many a time while I'm tapping away at the keyboard.

I follow a particular Scottish journalist of Facebook and Twitter, and am very cautious to never 'Like', comment or otherwise endorse anything posted by him, or, indeed, post anything on Facebook that may break any Thai laws (no matter what I think of them).

That's screwing the bobbin as we Scottish say!! (Boxing Clever)

Wouldn't surprise me if we're all being monitored.

However, If you're monitoring every single thing that goes on in a given culture and if you have all the information that is there, then that is the equivalent of having SFA.

How are you going to process that amount of information?

    Just saying .,,,.

BANGKOK, 17 September 2016 (NNT) – Thai parliament is set to welcome New Zealand ambassador to Thailand in November this year.

Thamrong Dasananjali, chairman of the Thailand-New Zealand Parliamentary Friendship Group, convened a meeting with responsible officials who will welcome the New Zealand ambassador at Parliament House on November 2, 2016.

The ambassador’s visit is to strengthen diplomatic and parliamentary relations between the two countries.

Thailand and New Zealand have participated in joint activities on a number of occasions. For instance, in March this year, Thai parliamentarians joined a seminar on the topic of policy reform, with former New Zealand deputy prime minister Jim McLay giving his remarks on the issue. The seminar was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand

Thai parliamentarians also attended a special lecture by former New Zealand prime minister James Brendan Bolger on August 30.

Truly strong parliamentarians like the Thais in their own domain doesn't need the approval of others any more than a lion needs the approval of the ambassador of sheep.

  13. Don't know about the killer id just the photo from cct show on OP.

from that, on a lower scale, that Scotbkk, #1, could do with some help for his paranoia. As not only is he afraid of getting slashed, and contacting zica, from a moaquito bite under his kilt, but also someone may place a bomb in his sporran. Things do come in threes...mosquito bite, zica and a bomb....poor laddie.

    Thanks for your rendition

I'm no grammar police groupie. However, think you should swat up a bit on your posted messages as to me it's a bit garbled. I think everyone has an opinion and if you really think I'm somewhat clinically depressed, I can assure you nothing could be further from the truth.

It's just a way to reflect on Thailand's endless ways of releasing news too premature before thinking it out first. Hence the criticism belted out by all and sundry keeping us amused.

Unfortunately, some pathetic miserable Bastards take it upon themselves to fire out personal insults to the poster given that they can't think of anything decent to say without being sarcastic.

That's life my good fellow [emoji4]

There is a major disparity between the punishment for the crime in question.

From what I've read the maximum punishment term in the UK would be something like just under 3 years as opposed to 99 years in prison in the US.

    American Justice

The American judicial so-called system is an ass IMHO.

The basic reality of American prisons is not that of the lock and key but more so the lock and clock. They don't give any criminal a reasonable time to work towards.

It's all wrong and facing any juries is a complete farce considering the prosecutors work on a foregone conclusion.

Everyone, is guilty no matter what or whatever the evidence happens to be. There's so many people's banged up in the USA and for such a long time, to me it's a sheer disgrace against inhumanity.

It's a whole different ball game to the way criminals are dealt with in Europe. I do understand a lot of crimes are committed with guns but there again' they're not all related to using arms.

All in all, I personally think this boy shouldn't be sent to any U.S court and could be dealt with in the UK since the crime was committed in Britain.

    Just saying .......
