I would go for a 2nd hand farang owned 300cc bike, bit better power for getting ahead of traffic from lights
This is one thing you don't want to do. Let other people get run down by a "red light driver".

funny how they stop bikes around the moat for license and helmet checks but ignore people running the red pedestrian crossing lights 50m away.
Well, they let the pedestrian/s pass if there's a red light. Then they continue driving, nobody wait for the light to turn green (why should they?) do you think they should be fined for this?

Great idea and I hope if gets support everywhere. Now getting them to wear helmets is the next thing.
...and prevent them from driving motorcycles until they are 15.

Ok, I'll take your word for it. I have no video capabilities on my device.

I read on here everywhere in thailand is dangerous, corrupt and police will intimidate you until you give them money. Oh and dont stay in hogh rises as locals will conspire to throw you off and make it look like a suicide
The list goes on ..just look through the various forums.
So who is right I wonder
I guess you're the one who's right. All other, who have removed their rose-tinted glasses and actually have seen that thailand is not perfect, (no country is) are wrong.

He did not "fly over the parked SUV", he bounced off it into the path of a following SUV.
According to OP:
QuoteThe student flew over the top and hit another moving SUV.
That means he hit a car. He did not get hit by a car.

The only reason for this is that she knows/hopes that she would be taken care of. Why work if you don't have to?

No, I'm not trying to "cherry pick quotes". I'm just telling you that almost all victims in traffic-light intersections, are the ones who take off first. At what point is your plan to "power away"?
