    I think the wife is a fairly typical Thai and she is happy to see the Cambodians go. I asked her who was going to do the work and she said, no worries, the Burmese and Laos will do it. Wonder how they will go for visa/ work permits if they need to go home every month when well away from their borders.

    I never believed them, then, nor now. I have had high cholesterol for35 years (probably more as that was my first test). Told me to stop eating butter, never did and am still alive today with the same high cholesterol myth.

    Have never understood why anyone would use a processed food, with its colour and texture made to mimic a natural product, in preference to the real thing.

    Butter blend here is about 40% cheaper than butter so I assume there is at least 40% of a cheaper product mixed in. Never touch butter blend or margarine myself.

    Similar to me but I had a lazy $10000 AUD lying around so looked at buying 1000 coins. But with the forex losses to USD through the OZ banks and not being easy to buy I let it go when the price went up a bit. Mt Gox was one way to buy back than so probably would have bought through them. And we know how that story ended. Anyway would have sold out much earlier than the current price so would have still a sad tale to tell.

    Have logged in several times today using pre saved email on laptop so no problems. Occasionally get a too much traffic message and want to verify by sliding the icon but no other problems. People that use apps (and complain about us who use a PC) are the same as those with EV's, they need confirmation to their choices.

    I have LINE on my laptop and phone but cannot make calls as they want to control the phone & record all conversations and want access to my contacts. I have not been able to contact all of my contacts to see if they agree to me giving their details to LINE.

    That is a big problem so the question is why it happened. Soil can subside but it is usually because of water. Is that corner well drained or do you have roof water dropping on it.

    So this report on the Pakistan V India conflict is not correct. The Pakistan J-10C, equipped with six Chinese air-to-air PL-15 missiles, identified India’s aircraft from a distance of 200 km. The PL-15s were launched from a distance of 150 km and all six Indian jets were shot down. Pakistan sustained no loss in the encounter. (Alex Krainer - Substack)

    I might be out of touch here but to put a pre-fab on a block of land would (but TIT) require permission from the Tessaban (Municipal office) as @Formaleins says. Having it registered as part of your lease is another matter for the Land Office.
