  1. "They reported the matter to the Nikhom Patana police who told them to go and get the licence plate themselves before they would investigate." If this is the type of response they give, they don't deserve a decent wage, and why more than "a few of them" are turning rogue.
  2. "............the government must have a fund of ฿200 to ฿300 billion available to help those in debt and the less well off survive the coming storm..........." Does he think that this Government actually CARE about the less well off and those in debt? They didn't seem to care much about them during the Covid crisis times when they were having to stand in charity food queues which were mostly organised mostly by farangs ( in my neck of the woods anyway)
  3. "He lives in Hua Hin with his wife and child or children." The pair were holidaying in Samui after arriving on October 4th." "The 28 year old's wife and children had already returned to Hua Hin." Does he not know?
  4. ".....intelligence revealed no untoward incidents will occur during the summit but some of the leaders attending it might clash among themselves." Wow! That's some kind of intelligence - forecasting the future now! Maybe my wife might like to talk to them about Lottery numbers! ????
  5. My point was that was the 1067 people interviewed a fair cross section of the community, or not!
  6. Where's the "Confused" button when you need it?
  7. And True Vision attitude to complaints sucks as well! I suspended my service for 3 months, and they said that I hadn't and tried to charge me for it. I ended up taking the "box" and the card into their payment centre, and telling them what they could do with it!
  8. And their daughters/granddaughters are doing what?
  9. So are you saying that because there are "1 million of them", they are "most people"?
  10. "In my day", before the "never never", we saved up to buy things that we wanted! Mind you, that was in the days of black and white TV, and bicycles were the main means of transport! ????
  11. And are "massage girls" classed as "most people"? Mind, it would be interesting to know which/what type of people were interviewed for the poll! For instance, you could interview 1067 hotel managers nationwide and get a different reaction than from 1067 farm labourers!
  12. "............and most have already on the pedophile list" I do realise from the wording of your post that English is not your native language, but you should realise that saying things like this is at least a bit of an exaggeration, and at worst the post as a whole could be interpreted as being racist!
  13. Sorry, but did you read the post and look at the picture? I will refresh your memory:- ...........two foreign suspected child sex offenders." "The couple, a Thai national named Ms. A (alias), 43, and a British national named Mr. Tacker, 60,......." So, of the four people in the picture, how many would you say are "the "real friends" of Thailand..........who are defintely not you or anyone of your, or my, "shade".?
  14. "Let’s start smiling at each other again - Thais and foreigners - and put the S back in the LOS." The first time I returned to the UK after a 6 months "sabbatical" in Thailand, I landed at Heathrow, and was walking along the platform in Euston Station to get my train "Oop North" to my then hometown, when I caught the eye of someone walking towards me, so I smiled and nodded as was customary here at the time. "Who you "f*****g lookin' at?" was my reward for acting like a "Thai"! I could only assume that he was heartbroken after putting his girlfriend on the train to go home to look after her sick mum, but I stopped the practice in the UK after that experience!
  15. I agree with your last sentence, but "flip" and "disaster waiting to happen" seems to me same, same - not much different!
  16. He would discharge his weapon when drunk and once shot a dog owned by a member of the public. The police managed to keep this quiet so that Panya was not prosecuted. Seems like they seemed to keep an awful lot of things quiet about this "time bomb"! How on earth did he keep his job? He must have paid an awful lot of money to get it in the first place!
  17. And no doubt his next brainwave will be pigeon farms:- However , joking apart, "trannies" are a pretty good idea as long as the Gov't/Opposition don't use them as a political tool!
  18. Yes, and over the last few years they have got "worse" I was quoted a 12,000 baht fee for a simple procedure in a Government hospital, but by the time they added on all the "extras" it came to about 18,000 baht - only 1900 baht less than Bumrungrad charge for the full package!
