  1. But, but, - but you said in an earlier post that I said "there was no-one in danger of dying as you claimed earlier." Bit different to "insinuating that he could have caused someone's death"!
  2. Obviously you need to post the same information multiple times to get your point across! 🙂 (3 times and counting!)
  3. "I have simply been stating facts as they have been reported." As I said in an earlier post (and most of the posters on this thread seem to agree" :- "Bull***t"!!!!
  4. Do you not understand English? "Insinuating" that something may happen is not the same as saying that something will happen!
  5. NO YOU DIDN'T! What part of "may be" do you not understand?
  6. Personally, I have made no suggestions as to what punishment this man should receive, but from his previous behaviour, he would appear to be of the type that indulge in all kinds of bad behaviour without any repercussions, so he has set himself up to all kinds of suggestions regarding his "come uppance"!
  7. If you are going to quote somebody at least have the decency to quote them correctly - I did not claim that "someone was in danger of dying" - what I said was:- "Yes, anybody who acts as he does is a threat to society - from kicking a woman in the back, to impeding an ambulance that may be a contributing factor in causing someone's death." So he refused to apologise, then he did, he cut in front of an ambulance, thereby impeding it, but you claim he did not impede it? Are you a friend/relative/legal representative of this guy? Because you certainly seem to be going out of your way to justify his despicable behaviour!
  8. Maybe the earlier reports had some kind of "difficulty in translation"? "Mistaken identity"? If he did have licences, why is he being charged for not having licences? :- "......face charges of illegal possession of firearms and carrying firearms in public."
  9. I think I read that somewhere too, but I didn't want to post that to Mr MeeSeeks because I had no proof!
  10. "He said that the Swiss national, whose visa was revoked yesterday, will face charges of illegal possession of firearms and carrying firearms in public." I presume that "illegal possession" means that he DIDN'T have a licence? From Wikipedia:- "The Thai laws applicable to firearms regulation are the Act Controlling Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Fireworks and Imitation of Firearms, B.E. 2490 (1947)[4][5] and Amendments to the Act Controlling Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Fireworks and Imitation of Firearms, B.E. 2490 (2017).[6] Gun ownership in Thailand is restricted to Thai citizens Unless he is a Thai citizen, can we stop with the lies and exaggerations, please?
  11. Bull**t! Cutting in front of ANYBODY is "impeding" them:- From the Oxford Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more im·pede /imˈpēd/ verb gerund or present participle: impeding delay or prevent (someone or something) by obstructing them; hinder. "We don't know the Swiss guy's side of the story either." Then why did I see a picture of him giving a bouquet of flowers to the ambulance driver by means of apology? "Can we please stop with the lies and exaggerations, please?" I think you might want to rethink that one!!!
  12. Much more of a threat to society than the majority of overstayers who are hounded for the same reason!
  13. Yes, anybody who acts as he does is a threat to society - from kicking a woman in the back, to impeding an ambulance that may be a contributing factor in causing someone's death.
  14. "Women"? (Plural?) This guy assaulted one female doctor, and the firearms charge is not for carrying a gun/guns when he attacked her! He probably wasn't carrying a gun when he impeded the ambulance either!
  15. The photos are of a woman beaten by ANOTHER Swiss tosspot in a different case altogether - this is about the Swiss who kicked the Thai lady doctor who was sitting on the steps outside his rented villa.
  16. You are getting confused with another Swiss tosspot !
  17. Why? What have the Swedish people been up to?
  18. "In a startling development on Koh Tao, authorities have apprehended a 36-year-old English man for clandestinely peddling 'Magic Paper' drugs, a highly dangerous form of narcotics, to unsuspecting tourists. According to reports on March 1st, Deputy Superintendent Thanawat Sukhakata, along with investigative teams from Koh Tao Police Station, successfully captured Andrew John Brett, 36, a British national. Brett stands accused of distributing Category 1 narcotics (Ecstasy and Magic Paper) with the intent to sell, reported Daily News." ".... clandestinely peddling 'Magic Paper' drugs, a highly dangerous form of narcotics, to unsuspecting tourists. I am pretty sure that if he was "clandestinely peddling" the tourists were certainly not "unsuspecting"!!! And "distributing with the intention to sell"? Absolute gobbledegook! And why did it take "5 months of surveillance"? A couple of days would probably have been enough - maybe the RTP in question got to like the place? P.S "Startling development"? Nothing is "startling" on Koh Tao given its recent history!!!
  19. "Govt questions ranking of Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang in ‘Worst Airport’ list by UK publisher" Well they would wouldn't they? Hardly likely to say "Thank you very much"!
  20. "DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER-cum-Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul praised Phuket authorities for quickly revoking a Swiss man’s visa for allegedly kicking a doctor as she sat on the stairs leading from his villa" Reading between the lines and going by his past record, I think the Swiss is guilty as hell - especially as he has already apologised for it, but typical of Anutin! What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? Same as blaming the spread of Covid on "dirty unwashed foreigners", he opens his mouth before putting his "brain" into gear! Let's hope that he NEVER gets to be PM as life as a foreigner in Thailand under his rule would be like living as a dog in a restaurant in South Korea!!!
  21. ".............acknowledged the persistent problem of foreigners illegally working in the service industry in Pattaya and across Thailand." Yes, it's a pity the Police and Immigration don't approach the problem with the same enthusiasm as they pursue overstayers, or maybe they are getting some financial incentive not to?
  22. Did I not read (again!) only a few days ago that a senior police official said that there was no evidence of prostitution in Pattaya, which is now a haven for families and sight seeing tourists?
  23. Wow! This must be a first! Probably more to come the way the UK is going!
