And don't come with a calculated terrible number of deaths withoud comparing to the normal number of deaths in the same time. What's better in the bigger picture: a short time rise of deaths or a future without small business and middle class - everybody dependant on big brothers?
Mankind has survived the plague and cholera. They would also survive covid 19
I totally agree with you , Thailand can't hide from the virus , it's all over the planet and I assume that we have to live with it even here in Thailand, only time will tell when it goes away. Open up the country for tourists , start with countries that seem to have the pandemi under control and test and quarantine before they leave the home country... and test again when they arrive. maybe self quarantine until test results are ready max 2 days

Why on earth not just end dual pricing then there is zero need for an 'Expat Card'?
They want to keep dual pricing for ordinary tourists ...

According to AOT (Airports of Thailand) almost all outbound international flights has been cancelled today July 16 and also flights for tomorrow until 03:00 am. Information on following flights after 03.00am at at this time not available. Are the anyone that has more information for how long this will be the case. I assume this is related to the incident at U Tapao, Rayong

There is a slightly different process and different financial requirements. You might want to get that information too.
So what are the requirements: 1/ Embassy Letter with an income more than 40K per month. 2/ 400K in the bank 2 months prior to application day validated by bank letter. 3/ Letter from bank stating 40K transfered to Thai bank Monthly.

No mention of Home Pro or Baan and Beyond. Stores in Malls should open but what about stand alone stores? I guess they could be described as department stores.
They have been open for weeks here in Pattaya

That is correct.
The insurance requirement is only mentioned in the clause of the police order for retirement
Correct No difference between having a non-b visa entry and a non-o entry.
Switch to an extension based upon marriage when the current extension is based upon retirement with a Non O-A Visa. Does that require insurance ?

It is joke since the election day. Alcohol has nothing to do with corona virus, this is just an excuse to show who is in charge. It's strange that the population accept it

I went to Macro in south Pattaya yesterday , I was alone in the alcohol section at 1.30 PM, It looked as any day before the pandemic.

The color coding don't tell the true story only how many cases that have been found. And not if there are a presens of virus. If a color coding is desired, maybe the should look at the some other parameters. Inhabitats in each province compared to cases and, how many people are tested
The virus can still be there even if a province show zero cases, some people get the virus but the don't even know about it.

Anyone herd of "Herd of immunity" that is the only way, you can't lock your self in and think the virus will be gone sometime soon, it will though, but it can take a long time. And waiting for a vaccin will take too long , countries will never get back to normal or at least not in a very long time. Or are there any other options that are floating around ?. Sweden is a good example / or a bad one, as some people sees it. It's said that 25% of the people in Stockholm will be immune in the end of May of about 1 million, and look at countries like Spain, Italy, France, UK and so on how did it go with a look down? Open it up and protect the elderly and people with underlaying health problems.

I'd appreciate it if someone who has driven through the area I'm asking about could give me one clarification on the diagram for Checkpoint #4, please. If I drive out of Soi Siam (Suk 51) onto Suk; can I get over to the U-turn lane; go through the checkpoint; then U-turn and drive north to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya without encountering anymore checkpoints? (I ask because the diagram appears to show cones, or something, preventing the crossing from Suk 51 to the U-turn lane.)
Drive out at Soi Siam and make a U turn after checkpoint before Klang and you are good to go. Bring a document that state you are living/residing in Banglamung District. I have done it almost every day...

You need to go through a checkpoint. The hospital is on the west side of Sukhumvit.

As far as I know Na Jomtien is a part of Sattahip not Banglamung. To get into Pattaya the first check is the intersection going to Jomtien Beach. I did this trip yesterday traveling north on Sukhumvit from Bang Saray, I showed my Thai pink Id that state that I reside in Banglamung, a temperature check so no problems going into Pattaya but many cars was refused and had to turn , but you could give it a try I think by now it would ease up. Good luck , otherwise east of Sukhumvit is open to everyone. You could travel along with the railway and do your shopping on the East Side...

I'm quite sure that all residents within the Banglamung District can enter the Pattaya city with the right paperwork, i.e Passport House book ID card or rental contract. Non-Residents might get it more complicated.

I understand your concern. The appearance does not look safe.
There are packaged breads there to buy.
Also, from what I have read the virus cannot be transmitted via food.
And, cooking the meats it seems would kill it off.
You might be right and I hope so, as far as I understand no really knows how you can catch the virus. A lot of research are in progress , but for now , better be safe than sorry...
Should there be an "Intentional Citizen of the World", nationality and passport.
