  1. Yes, been there, done that. Famous Things I Learnt Not To Do: 1. Ask a tiler if they are sure they can do the job. 2. Leave the job site.
  2. Hahaha...not likely this old fella passing much. :) My wifey and her gang are biking fairly regularly in between work. A few days ago 80 km! So I can join them but 30km is my limit as next day back broken. So I though a motor for extra km....back in the gang, the snowey haired one. Still with the helmet, glasses, etc. the dogs still recognise this Falang. Great vid Johnnerdo...thanks again. you. You know of vids on how to use the thumb speed control and gears? See your solar posts and getting ready to do it soon. Still toying up if I'll build my own batteries, so might play around with the bike batteries first. Thanks again. .
  3. Thanks. I tried to contact you before but someone said you were in Asianow jail. :)
  4. Hello. My 750 W BBS02 Bafang motor and 48V Samsung battery kit just arrived. I may need this forum's help getting it all on the road. Thanks in advance. :)
  5. At our local government hospital they have a Wellness Clinic (that's what they call it). So you can go to the doctor in the hospital wait 5 or 6 hours chair hopping and get your blood, stool checks for nothing or B50. You can go to the Wellness Clinic and get a range of health checks for B850 with no chair hopping and minimum discomfort.
  6. Dark black roads with no road lights and impossible to see big holes. You try driving from Pattaya to Mukdahan in the night and you'll see what I mean.
  7. I think under 200000 km is a better option. My Honda CRV is nearly 10 years old and coming up to 200000 km. Been looked after. Only replaced front shocks from hitting big holes that can't be seen in the nite.
  8. Osborn auctions...not sure if I have the correct name, but the auction place on The Dark Side. I sold a car there. Got about what the auctioner said I would. Some nice late model cars for auction when I went.
  9. Sorry mate, gamblers have a very bad habit. A mate and I went on a trip for 3 weeks. He was dreading when he came back that everything would be gone. Pleasant surprise it was all there, but when he went to turn on his sound and TV system it didn't work; plugs in the wrong places. Evidently she pawned the gear for gambling money, had a win then bought it all back but didn't know which plugs went where. :)
  10. I think the local government hospital is free for local registered Thais. I'm registered at our local government hospital with my pink ID card. I pay B50/100 for the doctor. Went a couple of weeks ago for complete blood check and paid about B1200. Wifey went for annual check up at the Wellness clinic in the hospital and paid B850. CT scan B3000 if I remember.
  11. Not sure you can just turn up at 1630. From what I understand is that you register and form a que. The registration cuts off at 12md. This is what I understood from my visit, but I could be wrong. As it was my wife was No. 12 in the que but blew out to 21 as the paperwork from the register mob was late arriving at the Eye Clinic. Don't worry too much about social distancing as we were packed tightly into the initial check rooms. If you're a fan of the Government hospitals you'de be used to seat hopping and no social distancing.
  12. Carlyai continuing: Wife started the eye tests at 1700hr and finished at about 1930hr. No cataracts and eye health good, just needs new glasses. Nice people and good checking. Cost B1500. Apart from the 2.6hr drive there and back we like this hospital and the After Hour Clinics. You have to register at the register building before 1200 hr and get a que number for the 1730hr clinic. A visit to Central Plaza, buy some shoes and eat Japanese fills in the wait time.
  13. We arrived at the hospital at 1130, eye clinic doesn't open till 5.30pm, so I suppose they are private hospital doctors. Registered on the que and will wait.
  14. Do you have someone you would recommend around Mikdahan, Kon Kean and Kalasin? Thanks
  15. My wife would like to check for cataracts and eye examination. Who to see at this hospital? We usually go to the After Hours Clinic, but they don't seem to have an eye Clinic.
  16. Ahhh..talking about the Aussies (current world champions) just about to steal the Ashes of the Poms. Could be a sticky wicket.
  17. You're a good man/woman/them, but I thought the first one had more feeling.
  18. 20 odd years ago 'helpers' were women, or so they said. :)
  19. But the 'helper' was a woman.
  20. I did the loop when it was all dirt. Great trip. I hired a guide from the Family Tribal Trecking mob after we did a trek. 3 weeks driving round. But the best part was getting back to CM and having a haircut, with this lovely massaging me too. :) Anyway she left the room early next morning. So take the boys for a haircut. :)
  21. 'Cleaning spots with vinegar will restore ceiling if not want to change.' Do you just use a paint brush with the vinegar? After you can paint over the vinegar treated ceiling, will the colour be the same?
  22. Great you are exercising and trying conventional therapy. What did the MRI show and why did they put you on Gapapentin?
  23. Need to know your age, size and if you exercise. Have you had X-rays, CT scan and MRI? There are many steps to trying to fix this area.
  24. Makes you go blind I was told, or was that something else?
