  1. My wife's secret ...mainly for 3 year old Advocado trees...direct the emptying washing machine water at the trees.......then act dumb when I say ' what happened to my Advacado trees?'
  2. Hi, I'll let Crossy work his magic. If at the end you still need someone to take a look, I'll see where my friend is. :)
  3. Yes twas fun fun fun, but not as good as a Sunbeam Alpine.
  4. @pedritosanwhat physical location is your house? If Crossy/you need another person to have a look, I know someone who may be able to help.
  5. Rivnuts and battery in. Battery Samsung cells, 48V 20Ah 940Wh.
  6. I thought it was a budgie ...when you looks at someone wearing budgie smugglers you can see: the 2 shoulder blades either side of the budgies short neck and head.
  7. It seems that 'legally' he can only ask for 1 month bond. This came up when I rented a property to a company and stipulated 2 months bond money. Evidently their lawyer said the law was changed from 2 to 1 month. Not sure it is correct as I didn't investigate.
  8. True. But to be correct in a sentence you can't use slang. Before someone posted the expression 'the world is going nuts'. The correct English non-slang version is: "The world is going testicles."
  9. Thanks, but too late. Just need 1 rivnut I think, that will make 3 holding the battery case. The Samsung cells 48V battery is heavy. :)
  10. We used to have a 2 hour gym/aerobics class at Tony's (in the early days when the place was great). After we'd go for coffee across the road but the instructor (ex Hawaii Ironman participant and great instructor) would never drink coffee as he said he'd seen people die consuming coffee after a gym session.
  11. Purchased all my goodies. Low head profile (round head) M5 bolts. Tried them and the make a neat fit. M5 Rivnuts steel and Al with installing jig. Takes a while as Rivnuts come from China. Could not find a drill bit with small clearance for the Rivnut holes, so bought a reamer to make the holes just big enough. Found some old metal bits to practice on....now I have everything, time to finish my genset start delay and get the new Rivnuts project done.
  12. @cheeryble I think I can see a problem in that bill. 8 Honda jazz spark plugs B800, B100 each. I'd guess 'no way'...just my guess. Trouble is the Jazz has so many sensors that all effect the computer (ECU), that without a scanner (you can buy them cheaply and use a mirror to install the unit under the dash) you are just working blindly. Story: I usually buy a cheap car for Australian trips. Last time I bought a Honda Jazz. Had problem, took it to 3 service places...not fixed, so started changing the sensors, then bought a scanner. No fault codes showing up. Replaced all sensors (except exaust), fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs and leads...still problem. So did other tests and decided it was the ECU. Bought a second hand ECU, replaced it, all great as probably no service maintenance had been done as well. Moral [from experience] First step is to get a scanner and look at the fault codes. My car didn't output any fault codes, because when the fault occurred the car just stopped as the ECU was faulty, no codes.
  13. Brilliant, it's all out there somewhere. Seem like a very good robust power connector (48 V DC). Thanks again.
  14. Thanks. So do you just push them into each other? I've tried with light pressure, but they don't seem to want to mate.
  15. From a battery to a motor I have the connectors in the picture. Not male or female but I guess the same color connectors slide together. I don't know these connectors or how to install them. Any ideas?
  16. NE Isaan we have 'big mobs' of caged insect houses. Every second house has an Grass-hopper farm. Started of @ B500/kg, now from the above report down to B 120.
  17. Ahhh another use for Crocs. I always wear my Crocs doing dangerous ladder work, but I turn the power off first. :)
  18. If all else fails, go to Honda. Probably not talking about B2000.. more.
  19. @Billcould try some Celebrex (antiinflamatory) for your back. :)
