  1. Why throw them in the skip after they paid me B3000 each for them? Maybe the new bikes had an inflated price? Anyway B17000 for the lot was OK with me (plus a nice new jacket for wifey).
  2. So decided to clean the bikes up and trade them in at the Mukdahan shop. So now 2 new bikes. ????
  3. So they reclaim the beach to build more roads? They keep losing sight of the fact that you can't interfer with beaches and oceans without concequences. Sand migrates many km up and down (I think around 100km) the shore line. Once you start 'playing' around with shore lines there's bound to be tears. Looks great now, so let's widen the road, but, if you look at the origional bay shoreline pictures that's how it was and will end up, without massive money spends. Not just Pattaya Beach, but say 100km up and down the coast. Next we can cut down the trees and put in an elivated tram/train track, then expand the beach and put in more trees, then ....
  4. If I bought my CheeseandKisses there she would find all the mozzies. She's a magnet for mozzies. Must be all the Leo consumption. ???? The mighty Mekong at Mukdahan is running fairly rapidly and shops have sandbagged up, but water level only risen a bit since last week. I think the season is changing as strong winds started yesterday. Season change could help with less rain, maybe.
  5. Get 2 and send me one. ???? I've been looking everywhere for it too.
  6. 'Bun' is concrete, "faa" is ceiling, I think if I remember right. So the 'faa' might be gyprock or board.
  7. Up country they all/most ride on the the side of the line nearest the shrub. Spose it's to stop getting run over by speeding pickups. Yes you're right in the city, they just ride anywhere.
  8. Have you been to Thailand?
  9. I thought I saw someone here who installed 3 phase solar. I thought it was red007 but think I'm mistaken. I understand your comments before about seperate in vetters for each phase. I hope to start the 3 phase solar project next year after I move my aquaponics. So mainly was looking for threads of 3 phase installations.
  10. Went to Mukdahan yesterday and found a bike shop in a small Soi. So cleaning up the bikes and taking to this shop. He said they will give discounts on the old bikes. The bikes he proposed for us cost about B5000 each. Dearest bikes he had are around B10000 each with dual disc breaks etc. Nice looking bikes.
  11. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I used my Thai ID at Khon Kean University 'after hours clinic'. Registered with it and no passport. So I'm not sure if the Thai ID made a difference as the origional quote for a proceedure was B40000 but ended up paying around B22000. I use my Thai ID everywhere.
  12. Hope you don't get all we had up NE, but a lond way away. She'll be right. ????
  13. Not sure if they are the same injections, but (before I had my total knee replacement), I had these injections of, dr said the red part on the head, of the rooster's cone. Started off from specialist in Australia then in Bangkok Bumrangrad. Seemed to work for a while. I replied before about anti-inflamatory drugs but didn't give much details. I had a work related back accident when I was 45 years old now nearly 77 and have had 5 back operations in this time. Drs put me on anti-inflammatries, valium, muscle relaxants, pain killers, massage, stretching machine, everything. I eventually went cold turkey and gave most pills up but still kept the anti-inflammatries and sometimes slow release pain killers. Gave those up long time ago, but my stomach is very sensative (from the anti-inflams). Also pain killers cause constipation, so unless you take laxatives you strain your bowel that can produce pockets that can get infected, called Diverticular Disease. Now I don't take any Dr medicine. So long term it's best to try and stop antinflams. pain killers and all that <deleted> Drs prescribe. ????
  14. Any long term use of anti-inflammatories is bad. 3 or 4 days for all of these poisons is OK, but longer term, you risk problems. Drugs are a good short term solution, but replacing the worn out part is the only way to go. ????
  15. No you knew it was happening when all the police disappeared. No one in those police boxes on Sathorn. Then driving down Sathorn, motorbike gangs were smashing the lights and police boxes.
  16. Yes, even though I talk drivel, a scanner is the way to go (workshop manual helps). Even though I don't have one of these cars, I changed most sensors, cleaned injectors, replaced plugs and leads, plus fuel filter. Problem was the car computer or ECU. I found it from the scanner, where as 2 mechanic places failed to find the problem.
