  1. No think the thermal printer is the way to go. ????
  2. That's my lovely wifey's 'writing on the switches effort' a few years ago. Still the last pre-covid tenants left the place in a mess.
  3. @PR3the people on the solar thread are brilliant and free. ???? If you don't know then you can save all these conversations by hitting the 3 dots button, then share, then send it to your email address. That's what I'm doing until ready for a solar project. ????
  4. I can't remember anyway. ????
  5. With many thanks to @CrossyI would like to purchase a Thermal Printer for making house power switch labels. Something like the picture. Anyone know where I can buy one local please? I don't have time to wait for Lazada delivery.
  6. Thanks again. I will see if the Pattaya forum knows where I can buy one locally as we're just cleaning up then off. Boy Pattaya is a big place now, and they're just building a big restaurant opposite or rental place.
  7. I need to label these switches in the pictures. Some are overhead fan power (fans work with remotes), some are lights. It's all a bit confusing, without lables, for people who would rent our Pattaya house. Any good labeling ideas (except the one from Wifey of writing on the switches). ????
  8. Sorry, my fault, not clear. Only in the Chonburi/Pattaya/Satahip areas. Will be in Pattaya for a couple of weeks from tomorrow.
  9. I think there's a mistake in the last line. Z2Zy...how did they get that?
  10. Ummm that's not from my quote.
  11. Any recommendation on packages available or places to have these proceedures done and the cost please?
  12. Farmers around here could use those, not too expensive. Probably depends on how long the battery lasts, replacement cost and what everyone else is using. But sorry have distracted the thread again.
  13. Fishing for a big fat Trump?
  14. Yeah I thought they'de use a dodggy transformer. Probably no current limiting. Still wouldn't like to grab 110v either. Cattle seem pretty sensible and stay away from the fence. 'Once bitten, twice shy'. ????
  15. Yes, and my son has them for the horses, but I'm not sure how they set them up here. I can't see the farmers buying expensive propper electric fence setups, but I could be wrong. Seems like water was involved and the farmer usually turned it off before getting in the bore, but this time he forgot. That's as much as I could understand, but I give those fences with the bits of white plastic or cloth a wide birth.
  16. Sounds pretty typical. They use both TNC-S and TT, but many or most older farm houses won't have propper earths if at all. Also watch out for electric fences if there are cows around. On the top of thin bamboo stakes driven into the ground is a length of fencing wire with small bits of white cloth attached. This is an electric fence. Guy down the road got killed from touching the wire last month.
  17. The electrical wiring may have been ... passable, but I saw one post where pyrotechs were used.
  18. Try the chemist or shop in front of the Bangkok Pattaya hospital. As @scubascuba3 said I think it's called Fascino. If you don't want to go there, you could go to a motorbike taxi place and give the guy you medicine name. Give him the cost of the medicine, B250 for his trouble and a promise of B250 when he returns. Wait for his return.
  19. Had my approval. My problem was I hadn't registered with the new site, was just using my old log in.
  20. Yep. My VPN can be migrated to all my devices, so for viewing in the bedroom I use my VPN on a Microsoft device. In the lounge room I have Chromecast for the TV, then 'cast' or 'mirror' my Samsung phone VPN and what I want to watch. You have to have your phone and Chromecast on the same network.
  21. Hi, VPN works for me. I've recently changed to Express VPN. Seems OK to get the ch9 etc. ????
  22. Thanks, think I'm on the right track now. ????
  23. Thanks ubonjoe. I think the problem may be that I haven't registered with the new site, will try that.
  24. Thanks. Doesn't work for me, but it may be that I forgot what password I used (been away for 11 months and just came back 3 months ago), so I try and ask for another password and the reply is the data not accepted. What browser are you using?
