I use a fire stick with Surfshark and it’s excellent. I originally used UKexpatVPN which was ok but not very stable but CS became rude and unhelpful so I got rid of them. Surfshark costs less than half and works perfectly. Id love to know what the OP is talking about “recoded” Incidentally a few months ago Sky News stopped working with the VPN running but was ok without it (the opposite of how it should be). Now it works with or without it. I have no idea why that is.

Thinking about it I don’t think I’ve ever seen wholemeal ciabatta. My guess is that because it’s difficult to stretch wholemeal , the grain breaks the gluten strands, it just won’t work. I only tried ciabatta once and failed miserably but I should try again now that I’m more experienced.

It’s a very forgiving recipe and easy to adapt so it’s my basis for just about everything. Hope it works for you.

500g flour 350ml water 10g salt 7-8g yeast 1 egg optional 15-20ml oil optional if you use oil and egg which improves the texture then reduce the water by the same amount. Basic recipe which I adapt according to what kind of bread.. Sugar is totally unnecessary

It’s all about the percentage of protein in the flour. Bread flour has a higher percentage. It’s better for forming the gluten. All purpose works and for some types of bread it’s preferred.

Best thing about lockdown was finding out I can bake my own bread.
