Good info  BritTim - Its just a pity that Immigration can not just make a single set of rules that could be possibly even harder to qualify for - But a least everyone knows what the rules are.

I suspect that that even outside of the amount of tourist visa's each immigration algorithm has also  been adapted to include some kind of calculation for the amount of Visa exempts especially now this has increased to 45 days.

The reason that McDonald's gets repeat customers is they provide predictability, the one thing you never get from Thailand immigration is predictability.

Nothing to do with immigration who are under the remit of the Thai immigration police. The consulates and embassys are under the remit of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Liptons tea has always been expensive garbage.

Buy Typhoo one cup tea bags on Lazada, 150bht for 100 bags.

Unfortunately thats garbage as well. I bring Yorkshire tea bags over with me which are the best by far. They can also bought at expats shops like Siamburys in Pattaya.

  3. Lol why are you all messing about. IPTV is the way forward. Wizz TV is used by many of the bar owners in Pattaya. Its 3100 baht for the year via their app which you can access with an Android Tv or an Android box.

You need a decent wifi or internet connection. In Thailand I have Wizz Tv. Have a look here
    https://www.wizztv.co.uk/downloads
It can be used in the UK as well as they are a UK company. You get all sports across the world, movies, catch up and video on demand. You will need an android TV or an android box. Something like this

Its easy to set up and they support you online. Easy

for what? if it is for ur first non O, no cash in Bank and the 1 year extension, thats a god price if your NOT in Pattaya

The poster quoted 33k at the copy place next to immigtation in Pattaya for an extension of stay not a first conversion ie Non O plus extension of stay. Thats about 23k in Pattaya.

Copy shop quoted me 33k right next to immigration. Are prices increasing at all from the 1x pricing? Most things going up.

BTW did my TM 30 yesterday at Jomtien. Thought I could use the app as when I tried all seem to go through successfully but luckily I checked with them. Can't use the app. Luckily had all the paperwork prepped too. Lady suggested maybe the website works?? It's hard to get through life without these happy confusions.

33k wow thats 20k too much

What’s the difference between the officers selling their services to escort tourists and the uniformed and armed officers who sit inside gold shops throughout the country?

The difference is that these officers are wearing police uniforms and tricking motorists that they are police by turning on the flashing lights and sirens to get through the traffic.

I use the 65k method so everything 100% kosher so that’s why price is much lower.

Thats imaterial. You are using an agent to do your extension because although you have the qualfying funds (65k month), you choose for the agent to do the legwork for you. Thats why its only 8k. I am speaking about not having the funds and the agent providing the 800k into the bank to satisfy immigration. In Pattaya thats 12,500 to 12,900

Chiang Mai and its been less than 8000 last few years.

I assume you are providing the 800k and the agent is just doing the work for you instead of you having to deal with the immigration hastle. I am speaking about the agent providing the 800k and getting the extension for me. I cant see anyway an agent would do this for 8k.

No radiochaser is right! Baldwin is also wrong to not double check on the gun and not obeying that rule! He should have known that, it is the standard rule with guns.

In my work, I switched of electric. Then checked my meter if it was working right, then measured on the device if i did right and also then again after measuring I checked my meter if that one was still right. Then I disconnect.

Safety when you are busy with dangerous things.

So why bother with having a safety expert on set when filming. As an actor you are entitled to assume these things have been checked. Maybe its because I am a Brit where the US gun culture is not part of my daily life. I would hate to live in fear in the US where guns are an everyday concern. We have many issues but guns 100% not, in fact I have never seen a live gun and I do not know anyone who owns one, thank goodness.

WOW. Use agent and costs me just under 8000 each year for extension renewal. Maybe those prices for original

8000 is a great price. The agents I know in Pattaya are 12.5k and 12.9k and the 12 month extension is issued by the local office Can I ask where you get 8k it seems very cheap.

    Think you jumped the gun.

Read again.......show the Doc & clinic staff some respect.

Save your wifebeater, footy shorts & thongs for another time????????

Come on now. We are speaking about a 100 baht medical certificate from the numerous walk in "clinics" in Pattaya. Most dont even examine you, just ask a couple of questions. Dress code is irrelevant. As long as you are clean and dont smell if BO, it doesnt matter what you wear.

First, where did I mention "vast amounts". But my point is that there is now a confusingly wide range of possibilities that are offered to stay here long term, and people still come here for ideas to stretch the system. Strange.

I didnt say you did. I was refering to his job being low paid with no pension, which was obviously why you mentioned it. The world has changed. As long as he is not a burden on the state, what is the issue.

Check out the movie Hangover 2, they did it in a few hours.

Lol, the so called Island resort in Hangover 2 was actually on the mainland.

it’s the Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton in Krabi, set on beautiful Tubkaek Beach near to the town of Ao Nang in Krabi.
