She’s a feisty one, on the one hand I feel for the bf/husband being caught in the middle but that feistiness surely reaps rewards in other ways. Having said that, she can p*** the F off for for making a mountain out of a molehill, to say the least. Over 50 baht lol, enjoy the rest of your holiday Ekaterina, *don’t* come back soon.

I had a full Moderna shot 3.5 months after my second Pfizer shot - no problems other than a sore arm for a few days.

I don't own any bitcoin, I don't like it at all. I just use Bitcoin as an example.
Interesting. If not BTC, where are you investing (if you don’t mind) - just curious.
I am a pretty conservative investor, more so in crypto, so have stuck with buy/hold BTC and ETH.
I have parked most of my cash holdings in Celsius and have been very happy - I chase yield a bit but not too much. Will dip my toes into DeFi soon.

Think you should invest in some air purifiers. Can highly recommend Xiami's. I have 2 and bought my daughter one for her condo in BKK
By chance, have a link for the Xiami?

So the info I posted above dated 13th December is already outdated? Far from impossible but if someone can post the new regs I won't be trying to change my scheduled 3rd jab with Moderna.
BTW, following several news sources and Richard Barrow on Twitter and so far nothing about any changes to the recommendations i posted.
I can only go by what Samitivej Sriracha told me so don’t have new regs to share, unfortunately. I do have an appointment in a few days for the booster, hopefully their information is accurate.

same here
I purchased Moderna through Samitivej and until yesterday they would not schedule a booster shot for 2 Pfizer’s until 6 months had passed from the second shot.
Seems new information has come in from the government and they are now willing to give a booster shot after 3 months have passed from the 2nd Pfizer shot.
Hopefully word gets out quickly to other health care providers.

I must say, very impressed with the new system. FWIW, I was able to use the old system successfully as well. The new system is a lot easier and more simplistic. After submission, got an email notification that it was pending; about an hour later got the successful submission email, with PDF attachment. If this holds true, 90 day reports now become a breeze.

I went to the Sports Stadium yesterday with no appointment and had my Pfizer booster in 40 minutes
What were your first 2 shots?
Just curious as I have had 2 Pfizer but not sure if authorities would authorize a third Pfizer booster if less than 6 months. I just passed the 3 month mark.

Of course, like Ivermectin, the Mix & Match Vaccine Protocol has undergone extensive double-blind, placebo-based clinic trials with a large sample-size?
To compare Ivermectin with any of the thoroughly tested and extensively used vaccines is disingenuous at the least. Guessing you know this as well, but post just to wind people up. Silly.

For some. For others that would be hell. This isn't one size fits all matter.
I have considered a compromise of sorts - plenty of good and cheap (I am thinking 5-10,000b) places in Pattaya/Jomtien to use as a base from which to slow travel from. Constant travel does get tiring, at least for me, so having a home to come back to for extended periods is invaluable. Recharge the batteries, if you will. If I am gone for 1,2 even 3 months the housing costs here are low enough to make it manageable. Easy access to Swampy seals the deal, IMO. I am drawing up my post-Covid travel plans so always enjoy these threads.

I agree 5000 Baht is cheaper then having to season 800K Baht . But are the visas "provided" legal or do I run a risk that a change of wind deems me a criminal for having obtained a visa without having fullfilled the requirements? Thanks!
I suppose there is a risk but I have neither the knowledge or experience to quantify it.

Minus the costs that I otherwise would have paid if I self-processed the OA extension (6000b for insurance; 6000b [roughly] for money transfers) the final agent total comes in under 5000b. I think this is a fair price and is probably even a bit less now that I am able to invest the funds that would otherwise sit in a Thai bank account.

After updating the app I could not get the pay by credit card feature to work - failed multiple times with different (foreign) cards. Used to work a charm. So, paid by True Money and that went through. Otherwise the app operates exactly as it did before.

Yeah you could start over that way or you could just pay for an agent to work his magic. Personally I wouldn't like either choice but you created this problem by not asking questions much earlier.
Live and learn - I was under the mistaken impression that because this is my first extension of the OA that 2-3 monthly deposits of 65k would suffice.
If anyone has an agent recommendation I would be happy yo hear by PM. Have used Cambodia Inter Tour & Travel on Buakhaow for a few minor things and they seem reasonable…

Yes, looks like the agent route at this point - I might leave and come back visa exempt, apply for a 90 day O based on retirement and then extend from there. I was hoping to avoid keeping 800k in the bank though as I think the opportunity cost lost on this amount is a wash with the agent fee, at a minimum, and so much easier. My nationality is USA.
Did you try to learn Thai? How did you get on? How old were you? Was it worth it? Regrets?
