To all those suspicious of her motives, she's 18 and contemplating suicide rather than endure life in the KSA.
Does anything else need to be said.

Every business has to make a profits, so get over it !
And as another poster said, if you cannot afford the Private Hospitals use the government Hospitals - just what is wrong with so many complainers ?
This not just about profits it's about fair pricing Vs price gouging.
Will the Thais price themselves out of the market?

Tried to get my people in Issan to burn rubbish in a raging fire, but no they won't do it, they persist with the slow smoldering toxic smoker.

Once again, that old chestnut "Education" comes to mind.
Some modernisation of the agricultural sector is long over due. Thailand. 4?

It's time that the Western world starts banning Thai products which pollute the atmosphere like the sugarcane farmers are doing.
The Western world seems to be in the pocket of the CC deniers.

Can I be fined for not possessing a driving license, if my phone battery is depleted?
If the authorities are organised (haha) they would have a USB cable to power up your phone.

An app can't track you unless you give it permission to do so.
Perhaps you cannot activate the app without giving that permission?

A good idea in some ways technology replacing the need for having things mailed out etc. Question is, can this country manage the system and all the data?
What really is being gained?
Anyone aware of similar systems in use in other countries.
Thailand needs to look at it's priorities.

I would take my chances with a conventional licence still being intact after an accident, phone could be damaged.

Egg-zactly. Now what is she going to do. No money, no skills. Who's going to feed, house her? Freedom's not free goodies.
18 year olds don't need skills, they just make coffee do cleaning and all the other unskilled and semi skilled work most young people start out with. Or perhaps she has skills we just don't know of.

Don't be worried too much about education it's just a method of turning public funds into luxury cars and villas for the nobs at the top.

They all talk so big.
Thailand is a country where banks ask for passport copies EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to transact with a banker.
It is a country where not a single website works properly and the English language buttons take you to more Thai garbage.
It is a country where they put traffic police out to improperly direct traffic instead of using technology.
It is a country where you can almost never find cutting edge products they can even find in Malaysia.
It is a country where you have 70 and 80 year old men heading Digital ministries and other technology agendas.
It is a country that attracts almost zero foreign talent and has almost none of its own.
Thailand Technology is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. And, Thai Tech people are near the very bottom of their competition. Thais are, by design, perfectly inefficient. Technology is about efficiency. Not same same na. ????
And when they don't know or are too lazy to do, the favourite word comes out "cannot"

Aha, 1st on the agenda we have the setup of the "Fishing Management Fund" it took them 5 meetings to get to that.
Someone must have been distracted by some other issue.
