It depends on whether the press have been invited to help record their heroic actions, and whether the press bother to turn up.

I'm sure that number is based on some bookings, before the prisoner tagging was announced. Let's see what reality happens.

Oooohhh someone telling a Thai organisation they have to accept responsibility for their members and their actions. This could be interesting.

INN News reported that Thailand's immigration Chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang has admitted that 2,490 illegal migrants had been stopped since January.
What about the ones he won't admit to, and the ones he doesn't know about. Should we increase the real number by a factor of 10? Or more?

The court explained that the resolution was invalid because it had not been sent to Parliament for inspection or published in the Royal Gazette as required by the Constitution.
Which constitution? ????
There have been a number since 2002, and more since the case started.

At least this is a little more realistic than TAT's efforts.

I think one thing that is scaring some students is that the desks will be "social distanced" to keep everyone safe.

They know that to achieve this the product actually has to have some quality assurance. Don't they?

Why just the south? Whilst they are in need of help, so is much of the rest of the country.

The Prime Minister has instructed officials to take strict measures to prevent people from sneaking out to gamble in neighboring countries.
He means travel legitimately to engage in an activity that is legal in that jurisdiction. Unless they are taking the dodgy ferry across the river.

The challenge is getting out of and then back into Oz, the government is making it difficult in both directions with over 30,000 people trying to get back into the country but no flights and beds in isolation.

They could fix this by increasing the rest of the economy rather than shrinking the tourist sector. This would require actually having an education system that produced graduates that have some prospects, it would also require a radical change in the agricultural sector, addressing corruption at all levels and consistent government wide accountability. All pipe dreams

On Friday, officials reiterated the rules regarding restaurants and the sale of alcohol, which can only be ordered with food.
There was a rush of applications for restaurant licences during the first wave, with some places changing their name to help their claim they are now restaurants. I'm guessing this is going to go down the "substantial meal" route.
So is a scotch egg a substantial meal?

This is a modern rehash of the scheme introduced post Asian financial collapse of the late 1990's. Lasted a few years until various governments decided they didn't like bits of it. The PR addition is an interesting twist, can't wait to see how they will mess with that especially for those who get it.

It should read;
"Twenty employees of a Chinese backed loan sharking operation managed to "flee the scene" because of a raid by top brass Thai police. The rest were not far enough up the food chain to get the memo."
