What will they tempt these businesses with?
Poor infrastructure? (Power, water...)
Untrained workforce?
Clean beaches?
Quality roads and drivers?
Consistent immigration policies?
Petty bureaucracy at all levels?
Stable government?
Honest and consistent policing and judicial system?

The government most probably got a nice "donation" from the U.S, non of which will ever be disclosed.
A nice bonus for the cronies at the helm.
"Military aid" gone directly to those who make the decisions, the generals.

Any chance the investigators could investigate the investigators who where investigating, Oh forget it
That would require professional, honest and fearless investigators, as you said forget it.

Incentive payments to some low level, insignificant lackeys may arrive in envelopes….but the General graduated from envelopes years ago. His share of the Voovidhya swag will arrive in the usual...well-guarded army vehicles.
You missed the cake box episode a few years ago, when a prominent judge received the "wrong" cake box by mistake. He got the one that was meant to pay for a house.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai energy drink brand Red Bull has sought to distance itself from a member of the business founder's family who was involved in a hit-and-run case, as calls to boycott its products grow.
Vorayuth Yoovidhya, grandson of the late Chaleo Yoovidhya who created the Thai energy drink Krating Daeng, or Red Bull, was accused of crashing his black Ferrari into a policeman in 2012 and dragging his body for dozens of metres before fleeing the scene.
Interesting that this "distancing" is happening now, rather than immediately following the events of 2012. Pity it has taken 8 years or so.
Who said social media and a threat of boycotts does nothing.

What the article should be saying is that the number reports of sexual assaults by teachers has increased. I suspect the increase in the numbers of assaults has not risen much as the number that are finally being reported, it is no longer accepted and hushed up.

It is good (?) to have some health/disease news that does not mention Covid for 4 or 5 paragraphs. There are plenty of other diseases that can kill or harm, these are 2 of them.

Bet their hearing would have been a lot better if the subject to be debated was an increase in their salary and allowances.

So this is different from the sudden transfer of an up and coming Immigration official (Big Oud?) to the PM's office following a brief disappearance from public view.

So much of a pantomime, everyone knew the plot and the outcome. Why did they bother going through the charade and just appoint him in the first place?

Am I missing the bleedin obvious here ? Why is he still an MP? How did he get to be an MP in the first place.
Plausible deniability. The offences happened in a different country when he had a different name.

Now there is a novel idea! Enforce existing laws.
Maybe they could share this brain fart with some other agencies.

I'm sure it is all a misunderstanding. It will be resolved with a basket of goodies, a picture opportunity and a wai.

I don't suppose a post mortem done by a competent pathologist has entered their minds? Along with preserving the potential crime scene, or other professional policing techniques?
What the hell wild speculation seems to work most of the time.

To sum up;
Because he was "appointed" not elected, he was not a member of parliament.
This is similar to the logic proving that Prayut was not a public servant when he was appointed PM. Forgotten the pretzel logic there, just remember there was some "interesting" points made complete with back-flip and pike perfectly executed because the EC and the court approved it.

So having an external company operate the busses will reduce the BMTA's losses. Yes. Bet the winning tenderer will increase the fares and/or take short cuts to make ends meet so they can pay for the rights.
