And he says the teleprompter failed exactly at the airports etc., sentence.

Then he says it failed because of the rain. Seems to me at the white house would have the best possible technology which doesn't fail because it's raining, and it would be set up so there is no chance of electric failure, or danger.

This clown seems to think Americans are all dumb and will accept whatever childish illogal bullxxxx he sprouts.

Most Americans are exactly that, dumb as donuts! When I went through rural parts of America on holidays years ago, seriously, I d get asked..."Oh, youre from Engerland....how do you get to America, is Engerland part of Germany?....most of them dont get taught anyting outside their own state, dumb and even dumber, thats why Drump is their leader!

  2. Old dumbnuts most incompetent stupid person to run a country Drump played a blinder. Just how much more humiliation and embarrassment can you Americans take?  According to Drumpy nuts, your revolutionary army "took over the airports during the revolutionary war". Wow. Only about 120 years before planes and airports were invented!

Still. Suppose it wasnt his fault. "fake words" "fake CNN reporting".  Best thing you can do, put him in a playpen and give him some Lego to play with....and under no circumstances let him near a big red button that says nuclear on it!

  3. Events like this in Thailand are nearly always crap. Whatever type of event it is the exhibition is outdone ten times over by the gaudy food carts and stalls that surround the places like an old fashioned wagon train from the old cowboy movies! Most of the food carts wheelies and stalls are all selling the same thing we see everywhere every day, hardly ever anything unusual or interesting!

Jezzus whats wrong with guys today?

The very idea of golf in the first place was to get away from the missus..gf's for a few hours!

    this place is ideal

since you now have the perfect excuse why the little leeches dont need to drag around checking what you are getting up to 24/7!

EXACTLY! Once years ago my "Mrs" here volunteered that she  "like to play golf", thinking I d take her presumably, so I said fine, you want to play golf, I can tell you where to go buy clubs and I can give you the phone number of a good coach. That was the last I heard of it!!!

Never heard of the concept of "followers" and it sounds ridiculous. The golf course is for those playing golf.

AGREE! This whole thread is RIDICULOUS! "Boo hoo, my Thai Girlfriend has to follow me round the golf course...". WHY? Arent you allowed out on your own? Have to show her how manly you are how far you can hit a golf ball?! Scared she ll be off with another "customer" if you leave her on her own for a few hours?! Forgotten what its like to play sport on your own without some Thai bird gawping at you?!!!

The article said they used a spare key to unlock the door.  OK, but exactly how was the door locked?  Is it a dead bolt or chain?  Is it a simple push button on the door knob?  The idea is depending on how the door locks it could only be done from the inside and not somebody locking the door on the way out, without using a key.

What are you talking about? What does it matter how he locked his door? Please get a life you are weird and somewhat sad!

  7. Thailand is a joke in this regard. Kenya, where I go fairly regularly placed a total ban between my last two visits in 2016 and 2018. In 2016 they were everywhere, like here, but in 2018 there was not a plastic bag to be seen, and if you happened to take one in by accident, or whatever, there was the threat of a jail sentence or heavy fine.

So thats it in Kenya. Job done in 2017. Thailand? You re a joke, a sad joke at that.

  8. Anyone know whats going on right now with True? I had a call yesterday to come to my house to make some "technical change" to the system. Someone I know said its to do with a change of satellite and they have to replace the thing that receives the signal on the dish? Any info appreciated?

  9. "Dear Gary,  I ve been very unlucky. The wind blew the roof off my Dads cowshed, and my Mum has to pay a small debt to the mafia or they kill her, and my car now cant use, had accident, tree ran out in front of car, now need to fix. Please can you send me money. I can give you my bank account number and swift code" !!!!

  10. So sorry if this has been answered before....I havent been able to follow all the threads.....but I have a friend just returned from UK where annually ( 12 years now) he secures a Visa Type O. The one that permits a 12 month stay but requires a person to leave the Country every 90 days. This person lives in Chiang Mai and goes every 90 days to Mae Sai.

From info presumed so far, is this person caught by the health insurance requirement? He is 76 and has no health insurance at all.

Thanks. He will turn to me for advice as hes not good with the old "interweb" aand is frequently confused by life in the 21st Century !!!

Where did you hear this from..I have just applied to Cigna for a quote...is there a list of approved foreign insurers out there somewhere?

I just can't believe that BUPA one of the health insurance giants would be dismissed as unsuitable???

To me, from what you say, the government wants everyone on their  crappy expensive policies to make a killing from us

Theres supposed to be a list of "recommended insurers" about six on there but does not include AETNA, but then again, "recommended" is not "statutory" I guess?
