Yes they muddle along and by and large things still kinda work albeit in a very strange fashion with convoluted loops and diversions,paperwork and in spite of the bureaucracy etc etc etc the country continues to function could it be better yes...could it be worse...most definitely.

They have been trying for years to destroy the NHS with the backdoor privatisation of it when you see public/private initative be sure as night becomes day that the private bit will become dominant and thus everyone will be paying for treatment despite the fact every worker pays National Insurance whether they want to or not compulsory tax to fund the NHS...still loads of money to fund wars in far off countries.

Yeah make one out of an old (large) paint bucket with lid be sure to get all the paint out first using standard plumping pvc fittings and some suitable flexible tubing with jubilee clips. water is pumped into the top via lid, flows throw filter medium out the bottom hole back into the pond ( I put an overflow pipe near the top which indicates when the filter is clogged and needs a clean) works very well filter media can be gravel ,stones and some of the fluffy stuff from an old pillow or duvet which will clog up quite quick but just take it out wash it with some clean water with a hosepipe every so often stuff it back in put the lid back on....you might also want to look at a cage/filter to stop the pump getting clogged up and burning out if it runs for a long time with little or no water flow to cool it.

Not when you can't see the road ahead, obstacles other vehicles or pedestrians because the window tint is too dark.. One "trick" I saw on some cars is that they leave out a small triangle of tint near the side mirrors but that obviously doesn't help much trying to spot traffic at corners perhaps some strategically placed cut outs on all windows would work to an extent but with huge blind spot issues.
