Well something new, the latest Jomtien residence certificate that I marked on the application form as for a driving licence...does now state "asking permission for a driving licence,buy or sell,transfer or register a vehicle" (this info was absent on the last one I obtained) Thankfully no mention of the type of vehicle so should be ok at the DLT for both, ...it also states as before name, address,passport number and date permitted to stay in the country ends.

I fail to see how it is any different from the 90 day reports that I have been doing for years without ever changing the address I have never been asked for this "TM30" before. I had the blue house book and copies of it but they where not having anything of it unless I got the special bit of paper first..so once again they said jump and we ask how high ? 😧 So tomorrow I'll go back and hopefully get the other bit of very important paper so that I can then go to the Department Of Land Transportation and see how high they want me to jump there too.😋

I just got back from jumping through the (ever increasing) hoops at Jomtien, before they let you apply for the residence certificate you have to "report address" using these documents I thought I did that every 90 days already but was told in no uncertain terms that it's "different" !! then go back get another queue number and submit the documents that @Pattaya57 posted above photos are 2 x passport sized photos. fee is 300 baht and maybe pickup same day if you go early but as I went later they said come back tomorrow after 10AM "special certificate of residence form" what a palaver !!!!!
