Well I got you beat on that one..I once rented a place in Pattaya that was really very nice and quiet during the day but every night without fail at about 3 AM a 6 wheel truck would turn up and deliver huge blocks of ice to a shop right opposite..sliding the blocks down a ramp into the shop with a loud bang after unloading they would then make an infernal racket for the next couple of hours crushing the ice in machines open to the street just across the road..it was awful. But too late I had already paid and started moving my small business !!! You really do have to do some intensive detective work to avoid these situations but its very difficult if you don't have much time or the place is too far away.
