I don't think there should be  a problem  if you use the same SIM /phone number in the new phone  just download the app and log in as usual.

Did you keep this in a draw or cupboard ?   I had a few things with rubber coatings go  gooey after leaving them in cupboards for a while.

There is also a tropical fungus that eats DVD's  and CD's   possibly that has started eating away at some sort of coating on the LCD screen.

Only thing to do is try to clean the screen either yourself if you are  confident to do it or at a repair shop.

No  it doesn't work   as the dynamic DNS points to the public IP  which is not the same as the WAN IP   the traffic is NATed again which breaks everything. edit  well it obviously doesn't break everything  but breaks connections to  servers on the "homelan"

what you might consider is to "move" the car to the province you live in now

this will involve getting new number plates anyway and avoid the long drive.

I'm facing this issue and it seems the only answer short of  paying for a fixed IP or some more expensive business plan  is to  use a VPS  install a reverse proxy on it to bounce/route requests to the VPS's  "proper" public IP address  arrggggggg

Amazingly yes..though the UK  government and insurance companies really really don't like motorbikes so expect to pay a lot for the "privilege" of 2 wheel freedom.
