Make one yourself with a raspberry pi..

Thanks for the reply..I have a few Pi  running already Media player,NAS server and nearest thing at the moment A Pi running Nodered talking to a couple of light switches and LED lights...just tinkering around for fun on my home network.

The systems  in the photos are more than just temperature measurement they are total Energy measurement a bit more involved.. really I'm interested if other forum users had seen other examples  from around Thailand.

of course have the right source picked out, HDMI/DVI.

It has the yellow, red and white hookup already.

Well  the phono connection  yellow, red and white  is not HDMI/DVI

it would be called something like AV1 or AV2

Everything's in Thai, so it doesn't help me

There is almost certainly an option to change to English language  on the satbox

don't you have any spotty Thai teenagers nearby who could change the menu setting to English

    for you ????

  3. Perhaps the HDMI port is dead  either on the TV or the sat box

can you  try plugging the sat box into another HDMI on the TV    also if the satbox and tv has  old style phono  plugs  ( yellow, red and white)

try that connection instead  the picture will not be as good but it will help to diagnose  if satbox or tv HDMI port is dead.

But with ToT/CAT.. I have no experience it talking to some technician will help or not

I talked to ToT  they sent "technicians"  said it was fixed it wasn't   talked to the "technicians" headman who said "it is what it is"  he couldn't change me back  without upgrading to a different package

I haven't bothered to follow up as  access to  the "broken stuff" is not of high importance to me at this time  and I  slowly investigate alternatives  like the VPS  servers or portmap.io

My WAN IP address checked at the 3BB router is 100.73.xx.xxx but the internet sees me as 223.206.xxx.xxx. To do an inbound connection from the internet to my 3BB router at 100.73.xx.xxx to access a NAS would be very challenging.

Yes GCNAT  router WAN IP and Public IP are not the same.

Then you create a ddns address with your IP. So you can then connect from everywhere via VPN to the NAS

All well and good until/if they put you behind Carrier Grade Nat   the VPN will not connect  because the public facing IP address in not the same as the routers Wan address

ToT recently merged with CAT and  put me  behind CGNAT  with no prior notice  now no

(outside) access to my VPN or security cameras !! ????

As written that was seen in our area some time in 2020.

Fortunately today business as usual in red zone.

I searched for a best example video from a "ghost" mall in Pattaya to no avail.

Lotus basement stalls and food court all closed/mothballed etc.

The above photo was of the Pattaya Makro yesterday ( Chonburi is in the dark red zone )

Here the South Pattaya Big C a couple of weeks ago

sorry for blurry photo I was rushing to avoid the Covid zombies

upstairs in the actual Big C  "proper" the clothes and electrical department where closed off all the phone shops and small stalls shut but  the all important alcahol department was open.

Sorry for blurry photo I was rushing to avoid Covid zombies ????

Are you suggesting some sort of nefarious plot to limit coverage on ivermectin?

Clearly there's some sort of conspiracy here, just come out and tell us what it is.

And how would "more coverage" of ivermectin help?

I'm suggesting we all try to keep an open mind about treatments that might be useful.

Some people seem to have already made up their minds that the only way for human kind to survive this virus "apocalypse" is to be injected with "emergency approved" treatments, nothing else will do !

wouldn't it be nice if there was a cheap already available long term proven safe alternative ?

More coverage of any and all sorts of alternative treatments  not just ivermectin.

uses the Schumacher technic by using two feet. Me on the other hand I have to be careful in a rented car not to use my left thinking it is the clutch

Haha  me to   I had to change to only using my right foot for both acceleration  and brake  in an auto

(as it is in a manual) totally could not use  left foot for brake..supose you can't teach an old dog  many new tricks ????

And what of your contention that virtually all the research shows that Ivermectin is effective against Covid?

I have not said anything about Ivermectin being useful or not...just that the media only concentrates on vaccination with little to no coverage of other possible treatments.

you've really got a hunger for grievance, haven't you? Do they make you jump through all kinds of hoops to actually get it? I just asked and the clerk handed it over. Do they charge you unreasonable prices? I paid 49 baht for a vial containing 50 doses.

Up until a few years ago you could walk into any pharmacy  Boots,Watsons,Fasino  even Tesco,Big c or 7/11 and find asprin  on the shelf's 10 500mg pills for about 12-20 baht depending on which store then all of a sudden  it disappeared,   when I asked the staff they all said it was just a temporary shortage  but to this day  there is no asprin on the shelf's..yes they have the 81mg pills hidden away behind the counter at silly prices  about 80 baht for 10  from memory  it's a while since I gave up asking  and yes they did question why I wanted asprin..when I said I wanted it for pain relief/headache they pushed paracetamol.

Obviously my quip about it being a class A drug was an attempt at humour !

Where did you get  50 pills for 49 baht ?

A similar thing happened in the UK  asprin  is not on the shelf  but sold from the counter only 2 packs per customer 325mg per  opposed to 500mg  per pill "in the old days"   though there

are no questions about why you want it..again in the old days  you could walk into Boots and buy a bottle of 100 500mg asprin tablets  without anyone batting an eyelid !
