They discontinued the live tv ar the end of June. However every single live movie on all of those live channels is available to stream on the app
I'm still confused what is the advantage of "live tv" over
"streamed on demand" I can only see advantages to streamed on demand ie: you can watch what you want when you want not when some one else decides as with "live tv"

Not to worry another promenade project in the endless series is coming.
More bloody palm trees...why oh why do they hate the huge shade trees that grow on the shoreline naturally ?
I have an idea the palm trees provide next to no shade so the deck chair and umbrella vendors have a "captive" market ( when/if the tourists ever return)
the vendors of course have to pay for the concession to use the beach.

I think Thai PBS has some English subtitles on some programs
probably other channels with subtitles too.
There is also often another soundtrack with original audio so if the program was in English it will be an English sound track and Japanese would be Japanese etc don't think they translate the news though...I'll have a look through the channels later this evening.

Electric Dreams is stunning TV. Every episode is good. An anthology series.
If you haven't seen it yet "Black Mirror" series might be interesting too.

Best just to find a place that charges the proper rate directly from the PEA or MEA electricity authorities there is no shortage of choice especially now with the Covidiocy.

My old 2 smoker (Nessie
) finally running ok (not 100%)
after a total engine rebuild probably could do with a new carburettor
I did try a cheapo china copy and it runs but there is no needle height adjustment to get the mixture just right..so its running on the old one for now..maybe forever more.

In the "olden days" they would also have to get up and change the video CD to disk number 2 ????????????

7 ordinary mainstream Thai channels show the Olympics but not all at the same time:
T-Sports, PPTV, GMM25, JKN18, Thai PBS, NBT and True 4U.
T-Sports was recently added to the Digital terrestrial TV package
( free tv via an antenna )....maybe since the Olympics started ?
I only accidentality found it a few days ago.

Why is this being done?
Probably because all the bars and hotels/guesthouses that used to use their service are closed
so they have less customers and now either can't or don't want to pay for those "foreign" channels.

You could try Netflix and Amazon prime or one of the Thai internet providers they all seem to provide TV as well ToT, (un)True,3BB and AIS.
Or as already suggested just download what you want from the internet.......DVD's

And yet in other news
In addition the RTP spokesman Pol Col Sirirat Deephor gave details of a product containing Fah Thalai Jone under a brand name called Inthra that claimed Covid-19 treatment properties and application that were not true according to the Thai food and drug administration.

Does this use gps?
No it uses a magnetometer to detect magnetic fields..you can also use it as a metal detector for finding things like pipes and wires buried in the wall.

But does mean everyone needs to be vaccinated, as herd immunity ain't going to happen
why ? most poeple sufer no to mild symptoms, a small minority have to be hospitalised and a smaller minority unfortunately die.
Those who have caught it and recover have at least as much protection from re infection as those "fully jabbed"
