I saw this 12 years ago when I went backpacking to Thailand with my gf. I wrote on the forum 10 baht to Canadian dollar in 10 years. I was wrong because 10 years have passed already, but this will be my exit point. 10 baht to 1 worthless loonie. 

BTW, I remember when oil was high and Canadians got so arrogant when they received american quarter as change (there's a lot of them in circulation). They enjoyed a full year of feeling superior and then they got their toilet currency back.

I have been using transferwise for a few months now without any issues. I transfer from USD to CAD and it is usually completed in 2 business days.

The last transfer, however, is giving  me one week from the transfer date for funds to show up. As a matter of fact, I noticed that when you play with different amounts, the estimated delivery date will vary between 2 days and a week. For example, if I want to convert 4000 USD to CAD it will estimate 2 business days. If I try to convert 3000 USD it will be 5 days. It doesn't seem to be any rule regarding the amount.

Does anyone know the reason for this?
