  1. I think the issues all have now are from BoT directive regarding the manner the banks report/process transactions involving fx to Thb components. I have been advised by Wise that if I require confirmation of an international transfer I should use Swift bank to bank
  2. KBank have very recently changed the format of credit advice/receipt. Immigration accepted the old format as confirmation of an international transsction. The new format does not spell out that it is an international transfer,on my latest CA (provided by email from trade and international div) it indicates the transaction was sourced from AU which I take to mean Australia,The transaction ID is prefixed IR,which I assume is for International remittance it also indictes a reason for transfer which is not required for local transactions. I will post a pic shortly
  3. It means that there is fx attached to the transaction ID. That is the reason for Kasikorn trade to process the payment
  4. For more information call Kasicorn call centre 2 for English 1 for account 9 for request credit advice.
  5. My last transaction Sept 28 reason for transfer (tourism expenses) ? Kasikorn must get this info from Wise or ,as the report is computer generated, the output may not understand the input parameters
  6. Australia via Kbank although all my transfers up untill Jan2019 showed as FTT in passbook since then its been local bank transfer code. Since then I have used Wise. Kbank credit advice documents from their international div indicated that the transfers were TT. My latest transfer went via Kbank Trading div credit advice from there ,only indicated that the sender address was coded AU deposit by Transferwise for tourism expenses. I spoke with trading div and they tell me that all foreign currency transactions now are processed by them and the credit advice is computer generated.
  7. I did this at CW in 2018 but I incuded my Home bank statement showing transfer to wise in AUD. Imm reluctantly accepted told me next year must provide credit advise from bank
  8. Maybe all is not lost,an earlier poster said he had a letter from BBL stating the transactions were international transfers
  9. You can contact Kasikorn call centre request a credit advice for this transaction, but may be better if you can show a staff member the transaction in question. The credit advice will be emailed to you,it will provide support if you need to show wise receipt for immigration
  10. I contacted Wise Sept 28 and they advised that my latest transfer was processed in the normal manner. The creditadvice from my bank was now computer generated and indicated that it was a fx transaction but did not provide full details, sender currency country of origin etc
  11. You will find that sll banks have been affected by this , hopefully for all it is just a hiccup
  12. On applying for extension of stay my Updated Bank book and bank letter shows I have an active account, statement shows monthly deposits, credit advice shows deposits are by TT(telegraphic transfer). Immigration have been happy to provide extension for the last 3 years
  13. I have problems with BBC the point is I use Kasikorn successfully, get cradit advice emailed to me so I have all that Immigration requires apart from letter and statement without going near a bank PS Good luck with Bangkok Bank
  14. From my 1st transfer, 2 years ago, I have always had immediate deposit into my Thai bank account, mostly instantaneous never more than 10 minutes.
  15. Wise are processing as usual but the banks are now falling into line with AML requirements, ie every step of.a transaction must have details of sender thus the deposit in your account is a local transfer. KBank now issue credit advice from there trade division this was previously issued by their International div. The credit advice has your home bank address displayed, so I think no problems with using KBank. The reason for my last transfer was Long stay in Thailand, but credit advice showed "funds for tourism."
  16. When I transfer AUD to THB. I am offered 4 methods of payment for the Wise transaction, Bank transfer and PayID have the lower fees. internet banking and debit/credit card fees are 50 baht higher
  17. Maybe a beeeater, had them nesting by the front door, they hovered around their nest while making improvements. They buit the nest in 2019,but did not use it ,came back in 2020 did some renos and left, this year they moved in had a family, that was wiped out in the latest very heavy rain storm.
  18. Many banks use IR code for International remittance
