Vaccine thoughts on Holidays and generally :
We all forget a VACCINE , its only purpose is to reduce the severity of the Virus should you catch it.
IT DOES NOT stop you spreading it .
IT DOES NOT stop you catching it.
IT DOES however means that you will probably not need to be hospitalised.
You can have a vaccine and still become a carrier and possibly, show some symptoms ( but they will not kill you )
So anyone who has had the vaccine could technically transmit it to a population which in the main have not be vaccinated, thereby causing an uptick in the cases, Governments are operating with tunnel vision , stating a vaccine will solve all problems.
So people get Flu jabs still suffer mildly from Flu , according to the WHO,
The common flu causes up to 5 million cases of severe illness worldwide and kills up to 650,000 people every year, according to the World Health Organization .
Yet there has been vaccine for this for years. NOW tell me that a Vaccine for Covid will cure all the economic problems and allow tourists to come back .
Science is in charge here, not the half-baked ideas thrown around by Governments . Viruses are particularly nasty bugs and their effectiveness , has been proven over centuries, Black Death, Plagues( albeit mostly transmitted by small animals and insects) Spanish Flu, Flu generally and now this ( which highlighted our lack of personal hygenie ).
Complacency is the killer , people refusing or even admitting ( POTUS ) the dangers and the severity even though Chine did warn us all in Jan/Feb, the world did not believe .
People constantly complaining about restrictions, not seeing that it will require most of us intelligent free speaking people to follow the guidelines, in order to contain this virus or else we are all doomed and why because people have the right to complain and object, ( which is fine and dandy ) but it would appear those same people are part of the problem allowing this to carry on by NOT THINKING just by being selfish and sod the rest.
So the sooner most of us even those here, stop the whinging and moaning and learn to live with this by changing our habit and attitudes ( including calling it a hoax ) then we can start living again .
People moan about restrictions the only difference between this and War is that with as war you have a tangible enemy , see them, kill them problem solved, with this it is still a war but this time the enemy is invisible, cannot be killed , possibly subjugcated but never killed. Like wartime there were those who objected like now, but their actions did not affect the general population. NOW , however their actions could !.-

If they (m The Govt ) spent as much time and effort reducing the death rate by strict enforcement and other Road Safety measures they would lower the death rate by at least 50 %. But that would require people to actually work. So I forget this being Thailand that is NEVER going to happen.

On, Off, on again and now off again, try using logic next time you plan anything. Currently most international travellers have two weeks quarantine here, maybe a couple of weeks holidays, then back home another two weeks quarantine.
Which part of that sounds appealing , none of it Government Numpties trying to justify their insignificant jobs

A comment made by a Police Officer who is NOT a Doctor, all blood donated is checked in any event , if that person's blood is shown to have problems, they should be contacted for a follow-up with a doctor in relation to the anomaly, therefore if any person contacts HIV from a Blood donation it is thje Hospital and the Blood collector that should be in the frame for NOT CHECKING

Replace all the useless TAT staff
Re-organise TAT to actually represent tourists both Domestic and International
Rectify current faults in Tourist places of interest
Render an honest account of the current situation , not just soundbites because they sound good.
Remove ALL double pricing at all Tourist/Park.Attractions .
This may make the Tourist feel welcome , saying they can come but only go where they are told, will never happen, the rest of the world normally is free to go as you please , if Thailand imposes that , no-one will come even NEXT YEAR !

Sadly after the debacle surrounding the Khao Tao murders of TWO foreigners and ther subsequent flawed investigation and evidence plus this sheer incompetence involving this investigation where evidence suddenly appears to have been destroyed and witnesses mysteriously seem to die. THE Royal Thai Police are agin in the spotlight ofr mis-managing an investigation whicxh to a meer 30 year Police officer like me is a simple event. Sadly in many cases the evidence ( facts ) may not meet what they think so it is changed, ignored or just plain not even collected . Hence a load of codswallop and the ( RTP ) wonder why the Public have no confidence in anything they do.
They are known to have fingers in many pies at least 50% illegal activities but the PM and the Chief of Police seem to ignore this fact. The Thai Public and Tourists demand better transparent Police work but as usual that simple fact is ignored . The Police are there to Protect and serve, but they read it as to Protect and Serve the Police not the PUBLIC .

Police investigate and submit ALL evidence in a documented and timeline file to Prosecutors , who then legally decide if any charges will be made and enacted upon. De-politicise the POLICE and Prosecutors .
The big problem is that the RTP seem incapable of running a clean investigation with intelligence
