Well even if you tell the POLICE, illegal market and people not wsearing masks and no social distancing they do NOTHING here in Udon Thani , so the rise in numbers is down to POLICE INACTIVITY or as no money to be made, do NOTHING 

No need, 24 hr curfew, no-one will be shopping ...…….lol

I understand where this Minister is coming from, however that may work for one or two days, after that with NO ONE working at all then nothing WILL or CAN be done. 

If you really think, no deliveries of any kind, why should they, nobody to buy the goods/fuel etc. No money in a short space of time , banks locally and for International will shut down in short Bankrupt and destroy a Nation in a very short time . 

Obviously LOGIC is not being used by Thai Immigration. They are computerised so automatic 30 days added to anyone's visa done electronically would be the easiest and best way forward that would ease the immediate problem and then deal with them in slow time, Foreigners cannot go anywhere, Long stay are not going anywhere, They are so scared of upsetting their apple cart for the sake of National security that commonsense is out of the window.

Oh build a huge dome over the entire event, 48 hrs before start filtering ALL the AIR inside , stringent tests on everything connected to the event including the cars , allow 24 hrs to get all the spectators and equipemnt in, Then seal the entrances and have a race . However if ONE person tests Positive during or after the event, then quarantine everyone for 14 days .

Which planet is this Minister on, certainly NOT this one many people have tried including a King and failed to master the environment . Work with it or not but control it NO-WAY  !   

OMG not only do we have aa DPM ignorant of this Viorus and how it spreads, we also have the WHOLE THAI Parliament ( all those with degrees remember ) being utterly stupid and panicking , typical Thai reaction. Zero logical action just knee jerk action.

If you did not read it, a normal person might be really believe that rubbish spouted by no less than a DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER , who shows just how ignorant he is regarding the spread of a VIRUS .

I am sure his boss the PRIME MINISTER has absolute faith in his underlings for continuing to show the world just HOW STUPID his Government is . 

NOW is the time to check all qualifications  and update all Boat Captains, increase maintenance to ensure safety for Tourists and overhaul all boats so that they are ready when the toruists come bhack. 

BUT NO , staff layoffs, less maintenance too costly to improve services.. Typical Thai illogical thinking that is why I will NEVER get on a Thai run Boat . 

Answer : STOP the Police collecting Money, opver the limilt, back to the station mfor a second check if still over on a properly maintained machine, then the next day COURT who issue the fine and or disqualification . Police responsible for safety of vehicle after the event . Do away with the POLICE collecting money ..problem solved the BIG problem in Thailand is the POLICE !

They were always one of the most expensive, bad customer service and attitude problems, I see they are not advocating any change on those subjects. 

Any eurpoean carrier is afar more efficient, better service and cheaper . 

Another one bites the dust, it seems the good and probably incorruptible are hounded and presecuted for minor infractions, whereas the corrupt and the so-called elite strut around .

Is there no end to the incompetence of drivers on the roads in Thailand. Too fast, lack of training, basic lack of any road sense. The deaths mounting up and well the Government wrings its hands and state a difficult problem to fix.

Well if your concerned about the extra judicial killing of the population, lack of any stringent enforcement, Paltry fines, then the answer is simple, but as it appears to be the case , none of the above really concern the Government then as per usual nothing will happen and we should all make sure we are safe while on the roads.

Of course we are Foreigners and we can see that it is all wrong, but we have the ability to think independently and use logic. Skills not normally found in Thais at any level
