Justice WILL be served but it will probably NOT be the Justice we know, but Thai Justice as they see it . Accountability zero, Truth NEVER , but a plausible answer to satisfy everyone .

After many years of living here I must say this story does not sound right, as foreign owned companies generally treat their staff far better than Thai run ones. I know of many Thai people being owed wages for weeks or until the Boss remembers to pay them, sometimes never .
Being as most of them are paid daily or weeklัy, the BOSSES have little incentive to look after their staff, as nowadays too many people looking for jobs .
I know of one company that just shut the doors, Bosses gone away, staff no money ,absolutely nothing .
Typical Thai attitude run and pay only if caught !!

The big question will be what will be the rate of NON-OCCUPANCY and therefore no payment for these booked rooms .
-
So one assumes then they are happy to pay the increase in Income tax and other charges to pay for the current TWP MILLION unemployed with more to come .

If that is a properly run checkpoint, for 30 years as a Policeman in the UK I had been doing it wrong

If you are a driver, no matter what the road does, you should be aware, sadly here people ONLY learn to pass a test NOT TO drive and concentrate on what they are doing .
-
Drivers should learn to look left and right. Drivers are NOT taught here , the Driving Licence TEST is a joke . Bears absolutely NO resemblance to actual Road conditions .
What does the Govt expect all of a sudden Drivers will learn to drive safely when other drivers are at the same standard. Even Government agency vehicles and I include the Police here are just as bad .
I spent a total of nearly TWO years learning to drive vehicles, big trucks and very fast Police cars , tests hard , standards high. Yet here virtually NO training at all from what I can see. Buses and Coaches are the worst offenders in my book .

I am sorry there is only one excuse for these rules. STUPIDITY and a FEAR of doing the wrong thing.
As stated NO NEW HOME GHROWN CASES ofr over 19 days and yet here we are obeying a silly order with zero LOGICAL thought. I can catch a bus to Bangkok and back no quarantine yet a school boy needs to quarantine.
We expect intelligence sadly the rule makers need to go back to school too. !

Make sure tickets if issued are correctly printed so that Tourists (AKA Farangs ) can have the over priced tickets .

Following the personal hygiene rules, washing hands, not touching face etc, is not difficult and should be followed in any event. Restrictions on life, well apart from places that rely on tourists, nothing has really changed apart from signing in to go into a mall, small nuisance .

More and more Thais have quit wearing masks....Its good to see people coming to their senses about the health risks of wearing masks....
Well I for one will not stop wearing a mask, as I see people coughing and spitting in open places and on the pavement. Catching this form an ignorant person who thinks it is ALL OVER is not on my list of things to do .

Well if you cannot go into the water, no point. On second thoughts who wants to go in polluted sea-water in any event , plus with lack of Social etiquette which is demanded by the Government, a hot bed of possible infections .
Stay homer sunbathe and swim in clean unpolluted water and sit on unpolluted grass while enjoying a Pimms or whatever.

Typical Royal Thai Police ( Your uncaring Police Force ) reaction, no money to be made, report in person, next time I see someone killed, there will not be a Police investigation as the VICTIM will be unable to make a complaint in person .

Oh by the way, drought conditions may apply, but we splash water and waste money ( which many no longer have after lockdown ) because April was cancelled .
I have heard some stupid ideas from Thai Governments but this one has to up amongst the MOST STUPID of them all.
Plus of course SCHOOLS are back , or maybe this just another way of keeping the masses UNEDUCATED !

I have a friend who is arranging for his Thai wife to leave Thailand and move to another country , one which he can visit when he is not working his shifts. Because Thailand is refusing to accept is application despite bringing up three children and been married for over 20 years . The only home he has is in Thailand, now even that is curtailed by idiotic government restrictions. They were about to move to a new house ( currently renting, so apart from furniture, lose nothing else . H states Embassy officals and even the Thai local Officials do not care . His wife has had enough so probablymoving to aos or even to another continent .

I have had speeding tickets, not related to me in any way, I deposit the letter with the local Police a TELL THEM TO FIND THE RIGHT GUY . No more problems now

Again I see the Passport Question being raised numerous times and I shudder to think the HOOPS I will have to go through to get mine renewed.
It is a shambles that a UK Citizen has to possibly make two trips to get a renewal of pay over the top fdor an agent to get a renewal.
Before I used your system using HK ( Know that is no longer an option ) , simple and easy, even sending back to the UK Registered post would be more efficient I understand for a simple renewal , rather than use those cowboys you have farmed the job out to in Thailand . Whose attitude is certainly NOT CUSTOMER friendly , when I rang them I had to remind them that I was a British Citizen not some idiot which was how they treated me.
