  1. worst case senario, rent it out on a short term basis or put it in the thai wifes name or my thai daughters name , it was initially invested for my daughter in mind.

That's provided it's ever finished of course..........................!!

if its not then i get my money back, through courts maybe but it states in contract im entitled to full refund.

anyone know how much i pay for thai company name per year ?

  2. bought condo in CCR pattaya 6 months ago, was told completion was december 2015. looks like completion will run to mid 2016 at least. i paid 2.5M cash for it with full furniture package. i bought it in thai company name and did not know at the time i needed to pay company fees and taxes yearly. i rushed into this deal without doing my homework and not thinking straight was going through a messy break up with wife at the time. anyway im now thinking of selling it for 2.79 M at least trying to get my money back. i dont think these units will sell for 3M on completion . its ground floor poolside 34sqm.

wait untill completion or sell now ? i just do not want the headache of having to try rent it out etc. and having to be in thailand to take care of it regularly.

if i cannot sell it and do need to rent it out i heard there was a guy in pattaya that will rent it out on ashort term basis for a commision, he will manage everything . does anyone know him or have had any dealings with him.

  3. the pie man, you know the guy with his wife goes around on motorbike selling cornish pasties, his pies are the best i have tried and im wondering where to get these from .

also while imm here and dont want to start another thread about food, i went into ( think its jollies ) fish n chips on soi lenkee last night, was quoted 399 baht for fish supper. day light robbery. anywhere else do a nice fish supper for a reasonable price ?

  4. any advice please on where to stay. somewhere with maybe a pool , not 5 star but just simple and clean, failing the pool then just a decent simple guesthouse where has clean room and good wifi connection. ( please give prices. )

do not mind if its out a bit from centre as i will hire a bike. maybe around soi 80 if anything decent round there ?

i was in hau hin few months ago, stayed in a decent little place in centre but sitting at night in bar lobby there was rats running everywhere which i didnt like. i was actually scared to go out at night there was so many rats around this guesthouse , they left the bin bags out and rats were having a buffet.

    thankyou in advance.

  5. what is best way to do this trip. i need some questions answered , i was there before 5 years ago but some things have maybe changed.

    1. how much is visa at immigration , have heard its now 25 dollars or is it better to pay in thai baht and how much ?

    2. is it better to get e-visa online and why ?

    3. what is best currency to bring , thai baht / USD / or just withdraw dollars in cambodia using my kasikorn visa card ?

    4. do you still need an overnight stay in that sh**ty little place koh kong ?

    5. what is best way to get to border ? minvan or bus , where do i get minivan, where do i get bus ?

    5. any other advice on where to stay etc in snv .

if everything is too much hassle then i may head to hau hin or koh chang.

    thanks

  6. kawasaki in bkk for sale s250sl. the seller had it out on finance but cancelled the finance due to a previous seller pulling out of the deal 2 days ago . so now he wants straight cash . i ask him about green book, he states it is with the finance company as he was selling 2 days ago and the buyer pulled out at the very very last minute.

so we have no green book. what can be done, my head is telling me to stay away from it. is the any confirmation i can get from the finance company that they will send me the green book ?

1 more question is this , if i did decide to buy ( with green book of course ) what is the largest size tyre i can put on the back of this bike ? these bikes look far better with a big fat tyre on the rear.

the model is 2015. the guy selling sounds american thai not that may make any difference.

thanks for any advice on this.

  7. does this cop realise just how stupid this statement seems " impossible for a foreigner to come to bkk and kike a motorbike across the bridge " i have driven all around bkk regularly with no problems at all. not really that hard for a tourist like me, so it would be a piece of cake to any committed terrorist. just seen this link below.

  8. Muslim trouble in the south may now be targeting Thailands hot spots for bigger devastation, I have always suspected they would hit Nana as its enclosed .

me too. also places like walking street at night or kao san road. though why near this shrine ? islamics maybe ?

What the hell are you guys trying to do----- give them a few ideas on where to set off the next one ?????????????sad.pngsad.png RIP to the victims and hope the injured soon recover

hardly bloody rocket science to know to damage the economy then a bomb in any of these areas will have maximum effect. the government or reds would never put a bomb near this bhuddist shrine , it was islamics !!! ive just spoken to a few other educated thais and they all say it was islamics originally from china and deported out of thailand , from what i gather this group or people associated with this group also held some type of protest outside the turkish

    embassy in bkk recently.

  9. i will be going for 5 weeks , i want to do some muay thai , ju jitsu or anything that gives me a decent sweat . i want a muay thai gym where the trainers actually give you plenty of pad work and not make you stand and jump on a lorry tyre for an hour while they sit and smoke their brains out. i would even consider tae kwon do.

im on a budget so i dont want to join fairtex i think they are over priced.

  10. "We still don't know for sure who did this and why," Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon told reporters late Monday. "We are not sure if it is politically motivated, but they aim to harm our economy, and we will hunt them down."

will this have an impact on the economy ? possibly more to come. all the thais i have spoken to believe it is related to the south.
